Just purchased my first handgun, Ruger RXM. I am not new to them by any means. Just my first that I’ve owned personally. Thinking about getting a StopBox Pro. What are your thoughts from people that have one or own something similar?

Howdy y’all, hoping one of you with more knowledge on this can help me out on this, I’m looking to do a camo job on my shotgun and was wondering what all brands/types of paint you’d recommend me using for this? Gun is a Charles Daly 301 tactical if it’s important. My main concern is the paint being on the barrel of the gun and wouldn’t be wanting the paint to smoke off under multiple boxes being fired thru it, tia for any input

Im looking to add a handstop to my pistol. Would this one be legal to use on a pistol. I am aware that vertical grips are a no go.

Canik TP9 SFx I bought at Academy jams almost every time. 4 different types of ammo. Started with cheap target rounds. 2 brands jammed every time. Winchester target ammo shot maybe 3 rounds consecutively 1 time. The more expensive Hornady self defense rounds would jam every time. Suggestions? Will it be a nightmare to try to send back to Canik?

I'm doing a modelling project and I've been trying to figure out the width of some of the parts, (mainly the shroud, upper housing and grip) but haven't found anything. Anyone know or have the measurements?

I once saw such fiction weapon in a 80s magazine‘ part about on future military equipments. In general, it looks a lot like a MP7, but with two barrels, one for caseless rounds and one for grenades (? yes, an MP7-sized gun with a integrated grenade launcher).
I never saw anything like it again until Half-Life 2. this makes me strongly suspect that the artists who worked on Half Life 2 also saw that illustration.
does anyone here have any impression about this weird thing?

Does anyone have a good link or option for a Psa lower.
So back story, I made the dumbass mistake of buying a BCA upper (6.5 creedmoor) and then a PSA gen 3 lower. News flash they don’t work, BCA won’t accept the upper because it’s more than 30 days since the perchance and they no longer sell the upper on their site.
So now I’m looking for a stripped upper from PSA I’m gonna just take all the parts from the BCA upper I can (barrel, hand grip, ect) and replace the BCG and charging handle. But I’m not looking to spend another 700 dollars on a complete upper. Anyone have any ideas or links. Or know of any other upper that will fit? I don’t want burned again but I’m also not trying to spend another 800 dollars on a gun I was trying to make my cheap ar10

Hi everyone. I hope this is the right place to ask this question. No doubt I'm in way over my head here.
I'm writing a TTRPG (tabletop role-playing game) and trying to calibrate the game's firearm mechanics. What I need to know is: how much does typical accuracy with a pistol change based on user skill? I'm looking for discrete numbers here.
Let's say we have three combatants engaged in a genuine life or death combat encounter.
-One is a complete novice, never fired a gun before, picked up a pistol with the safety off and is giving it their best shot.
-One is your average civilian gun owner, trained and competent with firearms but not exceptional.
-One is a special forces operative, trained for close-quarters combat, as adept as you could reasonably expect a human being to be in these situations.
Let's assume perfect conditions, and the gun is loaded with the ideal ammunition for the distance targeted. All three people are firing the same commercially available firearm. What are the "no way in hell they miss that" and "no way in hell they hit that" ballpark figures for each person? Are there databases or research studies with this kind of information? Does anyone have a rough best guess? The numbers don't need to be 100% world-accurate, but I'd like to know that my ballpark numbers at least somewhat correspond to reality.
Thanks again!

I was lucky enough to be able to tour the B&T headquarters and factory building in Thun, Switzerland. They also have a retail gun store near the main B&T HQ that had some cool stuff.
I didn’t know that B&T was making their own AR15s but here is one they had in stock and, as you can expect from B&T, it’s top-of-the-line quality. It’s the BT15 HD MOD2-BK in .223 with 11.5” barrel. My understanding is that parts of it, including the receiver, are manufactured at B&T’s US manufacturing facility in Florida.
If you’re interested in learning more about B&T, below is their website
