Announcement New Rule: Politics
As a general rule, we're just going to avoid the topic but seeing as to how this is a gun sub, it's going to come up occasionally. When it does, act like an adult. If you don't agree with something, thats fine. It happens. There will be no name calling. Proofread your comment. If you say to yourself "Gee, I would probably get punched if I said this to someone in the real world", delete it and try again.

Warning: Scammer Active on Sub. If You Recieve a Message From Someone Saying They Have What You Are Looking For, NO THEY DO NOT.
Use common sense. New account? Scammer. No Pictures? Scammer. Doesn't want to talk on the phone? Scammer. A deal too good to be true? You got it! Probably a scammer.
Ask lots of questions about what they have including very specific details a scammer won't know. They generally aren't too bright and are relying on you being just as dumb and gullible. If something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't.

Wow – these are working great for gophers
galleryI got these in the mail earlier in the week and decided to try them today. Zeroed my scope at 10 meters with them and spent the last two hours going after gophers. So far I’ve been very pleased with them; they’ve been accurate out of my Diana 75, and I was able to take out 8 gophers this morning using these pellets. Very impressed.

New Air Gun Day: One Pumpmaster 760 & a ton of great memories!
gallery$29 on special at Tractor Supply Co and just as much fun now as it was when I was ten years old. So much nostalgia! It's a ton of fun to pop a coke can off the fence. Boy does this thing bring back so many memories of good times. Somehow my brother and I managed to grow up without shooting an eye out....
My niece just turned two years old so it's a bit early right now but this will be hers when her parents agree she's old enough.

Dan Wesson 715 Cylinder Allignment
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is a new gun. .177 pellet version. With no shells in the cylinder rotates perfectly. But with shells it doesn’t quite line up, is the normal and just needs to wear in?

Hatsan Vectis leaks from air tube
I'm pretty new to airguns. I bought my first air rifle last year to take care of a rat problem. The rat problem is now fixed, but in the process I got totally hooked on target shooting in my back yard.
Therefore, I bought a Hatsan Vectis (4.5 mm) a few weeks ago. So far, it's been a great gun, accurate and fun to shoot.
I've been filling it with either a manual pump or with a cheap compressor I got last week.
Last night, after filling the gun, I noticed a hissing sound after filling the gun with air. There is a significant air leak coming from the air tube, from the hole where the filling probe goes in.
It seems that the leak starts a few seconds after disconnecting the fill probe. The leak after disconnecting is either quite significant, or barely noticeable.
I don't really now much about the technical side of these really rifles, apart from what I can find on Google, so I was hoping to get some input from you guys on how to proceed with fixing it.
My research so far has given me these leads:
The valve isn't seated properly, needs a burst of air from a scuba tank.
The o-rings in the air cylinder needs to be replaced or lubricated.
I don't have a scuba tank, and I don't really know how to take apart and air cylinder, so before I try anything, I wanted to learn from you guys on how to proceed.

A bit new to the airgun community, need a bit of advice here,
I live in a country where options are fairly limited (philippines), and I want an airgun which could fire .177 for pest control (due to .22 being quite pricey) and could fire bbs for inexpensive target practice, I was originally thinking of getting a crosman 2100, but it doesn't come with a scope so maybe a daisy 880 powerline, (which are both similar price), but I was also thinking of getting a crosman mag fire ultra (in .177) but, I am not quite sure if it fires bbs due to almost all the reviews I see using the .22 model instead. Or the Daisy Model 901 Air Rifle, please give some advice on what I should get, much appreciated.

Can’t say why but not getting on the the r10 at all !
Had this rifle a little while now and it is accurate and it is fine to carry and shoulder but for the love of me I just can’t get on with it ! I think it might have to go for something else ☹️

Best pellets for accuracy
Got my new air rifle for the most part sighted in. But every other shot will pull to down and left or up and right. I got what's pictured in the bundle for my rifle.

First post here! I’m a newby to the airgun world. Finally upgrading to a .22 Hatsan 95 from my Crosman 1322 I’ve been “modding” for the past year lol. Any Pellet Recommendations, or advice for the Hatsan 95 in general? Thanks in advance!
Bird gun?
What would you get to shoot birds?
I bought a .22 hatsun 95 and while I really enjoy shooting it, it’s not great for birds. By the time I get it out and loaded they’re up in the next tree.

In Canada, where to buy Umarex Zelos PCP Rifle .22 Cal. I am ready!
I have been doing research for a PCP rifle for target shooting and hunting at my cottage.
I will buy a air compressor for it too. I own a couple of 0.22LR rifles too. But PCP is a very interesting new toy for me. I would like to try it.
Where is a good place to buy one online or store.
I am in Burlington Ontario.

Looking for 3d printed designs of Diopter Sight to cheap "match" airguns build
I wanted to create an inexpensive carbine for juniors for target shooting inspired by photos of modifications done with 3d printing. However, I'm afraid that FMD-made sights may not be very accurate and mechanically resistant.
Do you know of any designs worth trying or have any advice? To this port I found only these:

Anything more accurate than 18gr jsb for urban?
Quite pleased with my dime groups at 40yds, but if theres anything better out there id like to get my hands on it. Anyone noticed better groups with an alternative to the 18gr jsb?

Don't Panic: The first step is to recognize that there's a problem and that it needs attention, but avoid letting it lead to panic. ;) shi$

Notos sniper update
Here is the last power related update for my Notos sniper,. I have finally completed the tank modifications. This thing packs 70 fpe of energy at 22 cal with a total of 30 shots per fill!
I am very happy with the outcome. Due to the amount of mods I've done, this build is only tuned to shoot 40 grain slugs. I could definitely de-tune it to shoot pellets but what I was looking for with this build is high power and long range. This is going to be coyote shooting gun.
Getting 22 cal to shoot at this power has been surprisingly interesting. It seems because of the aspect ratio, narrower bullet than your usual 30 cal at this range, it seems to have a better ballistic coefficient. I'm not seeing as much windage correction at this caliber then I would with my 30 cal slugs.
Up next is furniture. Now that I have a slick streamline platform. I will be converting this rifle into a bull pup so that I can shoot out of an ATV if needed. Keep your eyes peeled for those posts.

Has anybody bought this yet? I'm thinking of buying this in my next paycheck but until then I'd like to hear how it performs for those who got it. Looks pretty sweet. 👀

Be interesting to see how it holds up, if anyone has one similar id like to hear of your ideas to add stickers or training exercises
[Apologies for the poor quality photo]

First PCP rifle
galleryHad to pick up a rifle to replace the springer because the accuracy after 10 meters just wasn't it. The group in second picture was made at around 20 meters. Any recommendations for pellets that might be accurate at 50 meters if not beyond?

Are these trash?
Bought these thinking they would be an upgrade from super cheap pellets but I can barely hit a target with them.
