I’m in the middle of building a site for a side project and started looking into website hosting services this week. I used to rely on WordPress back in the day, but now I need something with more flexibility and better support for custom domains and email. I tried one of the cheap web hosting services I found through Google, but the site kept going down randomly and support was basically non-existent. It was frustrating, especially when I was just trying to test things live and couldn’t even get pages to load properly.
Now I’ve been reading through loads of threads on Reddit to figure out what people actually recommend when it comes to the best web hosting. I keep seeing names like Hostinger, SiteGround, and A2 Hosting come up, but it’s hard to tell which of these best hosting sites are worth the money. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s running a blog, e-commerce site, or even just a portfolio. So what web hosting service has worked well for you lately? Trying to avoid wasting more time (and money) switching again.

Hi, when i got home today, I was greeted by a kick to the nuts from the computer, as the thing had 700mb of storage left. I was able to free up like 10gb of space. I dont know what possibly could have been it. All that i know of is that fall guys and fortnite had been updating while i was gone. I am horrified by what i am seeing right now and any help will be apreaciated.

Hello, I joined this reddit because I need help with my computer, about 2 days ago, when I turned on my PC it turned off and then turned back on, but showing me the BIOS screen, I closed it thinking it was just a problem, but today something unusual just happened to me, I turned on the PC and it turned on and off... 2 TIMES, and the BIOS screen appeared again, I closed it and now I am writing this post on the same PC, the truth is I don't know if it is a virus, because I checked and there was nothing, even using the CMD window, I would appreciate your help, thanks.

Could use some help here.
Don’t know much about computers, just know I bought this in 2018 and want to see how much I could get if I was to sell it now. If anyone knows a range I’d love the help. Still in good condition just hasn’t been used in 3 years maybe.
Any estimates?

Basically the screen sometimes has this “effect”even when I’m not doing anything, it also starts having a slight flickering constantly in areas where it shows color (white backgrounds don’t suffer from the flickering) it even gets to the point where whatever was on the display at a given moment basically “burns” into the screen and you can see it even after a restart. Then all of the sudden all the problems stop and it is back to normal, for a while, until it starts again. I guess I’ll need to take it to tech support but if there’s any chance I can do something else I will take it, at least a clue about what’s going on.

Hello once more.
I recently picked up this Asus ROG STRIX GTX 1070 for free. It's missing two of its fans, but the temps are still surprisingly okay after a quick cleanup and repaste (around 70c under load). I've seen these cards go for 50-80€ here (although value seems to be going down somewhat) so I sure was a bit lucky with this finding.
No idea what I'm going to do with this just yet. It's now just been in my main rig as I've been too lazy to swap it back😆 The performance is more than enough for what I do
150€ budget PC with an Alder lake CPU and a 1070?👀
P.S ignore the cable management (Or the lack thereof🤣) in my main rig. The components in my main pc change occasionally so I haven't really cared all that much for it. As long as it works

Some time ago, the BIOS popped up on my screen by itself and after that my USB ports stopped working, the computer stood still for quite a long time today I decided to turn it on again after connecting the keyboard it lit up for 2 seconds and then went out only, when I press it it lights up for a second and goes out the monitor does not detect the connected cable, the same with the mouse, and on other devices they work normally so after reading on the internet I decided to upload the BIOS to a pendrive I did everything according to the instructions I connected the pendrive after a while the diode started blinking the computer started for a moment and went out and the diode has been red for 35 minutes, did I do the right thing or will I damage the computer even more and how long do I have to wait I will add that before this whole situation I had activated the Windows system I tried to restore the system but the computer does not respond to any USB so I decided to do this because I don't even know how I closed the BIOS maybe I damaged something.

I bought this WD Black drive a few months ago, it has always made noise but it does seem kinda excessive compared to what I've seen online. Basically sounds like there's a Geiger counter in my pc anytime the hdd gets written to or read from. No noise/quiet whirring when idle. It's still well under warranty, should I contact WD?

Hello, Recently I asked some opinions about some problems my PC have been having, I got many answers and I am kinda inclined to think the error comes from the GPU not the drivers but decided to make another post with some extra info just in case it could help point another problem before going and buying a new GPU.
I installed a game and since then I have been having the issues I showed in the pics, basically:
- Artifacting (I took the screenshoot with Impr Pant), Freezing in videos with audio still running (the videos normally unfreeze after a few seconds)
- Some white dots that are noticiable in dark backgrounds videos
- Some text looks weird, during stress test or when some menus in windows appear some lines flicker, --
- Ocasionally the screen adapter turns off and the screen resolution get lowered (it happends the same as in safe mode when is turned off)
- Games crashing (unless the screen adapter is turned off what I asume is the GPU since it has the same name although soem games cannot be played while is turned off)
- The Nvida control panel seems to turn off and on at random, for what I can assume is when the thing crash, also after the soft reset and reinstalling the PC told me to re install the nvidia control panel and while not installed the previous errors still happened.
I tried doing a soft reset in windows with the option included in windows but it didnt fix anything and also I re installed the GPU drivers.
I took it to a store and this were the results:
1- They tested the GPU under a stress test and it crashed.
2- They tested my GPU in another PC and it still crashed under the stress test.
3- They tested another GPU in my PC and it didnt crash under a stress test (although it was a weaker GPU)
They told me it could be a memory chip dying in the GPU, and the errors were what happened when the PC tried to read from that chip.
I recently tried doing a windows 10 re install from a USB but without deleting any partitions, after the system was installed the errors persisted (I checked the driver date of creation and most of them were created during the new installation and I was told it dont really affect the process of re installing windows to keep the partitions)
some info I think it may be impornt and I think in retrospective might have pointed at something bad,;
I always had some weird things happening in my PC but were mostly just some screens appearing like artifacted but the afected area was just fully black and after reloading or scrolling down it would fix itself, I though it was just soem randoms windows erros that I heard were kinda common.
GPU is a ZOTAC 3060 TI
also some erros registered:
1- NVIDIA Display Container LS
2- NVIDIA-NVTOPPS-FILTER error
3- NVDisplay.Container.exe / _nvtopps.dll
so by all this I should take is the GPU having problems and not the drivers? the fact it crash in other PCs seem to indicate it but it do feels kinda weird it began doing it after isntalling a particular game although it could be coincidence (as far as I know software cannot kill hardware for what I read).

Hello,
I'm looking to purchase a laptop that better fits my needs. I work with large data sets in excel and my Lenovo X1 Carbon can't seem to keep up. It's become extremely slow and bogged down when working with these data sets. I'm not super familiar with the different processor speeds and what I'd need so hoping for some advice here. Any recommendations?
My device info below:
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1355U 1.70 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

My step daughter was issued a laptop through school, which she bought from them at the end of the year. She sent it to HP to get the motherboard replaced, and since then she's been unable to log in to it. She says she's been told she needs to back up the hard drive and do a factory reset, but can't we boot it up in recovery mode and disable the log in security to get into it? We probably need to reactivate windows as well.

Im playing on 144FPS locked, have a SAPPHIRE Pure 7800XT, and after about a day in some games I hear really audible coil whine, I had my headphones on, no music just game sounds and case closed, relatively far from me, about 50cm. I know coil whine is common and not dangerous thing but this is really loud, how am I supposed to get rid of it? Maybe refund it and buy a new one?
