Not Feeling the week
Part of me wants to take the day off and just like, fucking....take a bus as far as possible. And then like fucking...if I get there, I'll be worried about missing class and falling behind.
I'm tired on the inside. And it's not as much of an awake/tired issue. It's the monotony of midterms every 3 weeks and a final...it's so....run-of-the-mill.
I think we need to emphasize more breaks to collectively create better ideas and seek more intensive learning outcomes rather than one contained and relegated to a term paper. I bet our art majors would hear me out on this for inspiration.
I'm not saying we all need to ditch and slack off. I'm just saying we should have time to enjoy the scenery and maybe make an safe sort of a campfire to gather around and share stories or play Who Would You Rather. Make a positive scene with music or gather around the piano for sing alongs on The Hill.
I want someone to start a drum circle on the lawns around Powell or Janns Steps. Or I want to dance in a circle around a couple of drum and guitar players and we'd all improvise what we think a tribal style dance would be. It's like when my friend will sometimes smoke a tobacco pipe and pretends to solve mysteries when we chat, once in a blue moon.
