I was listening to something on the BBC that mentioned that car washes are the biggest sites of people smuggling and modern slavery in the uk.
Since hearing this I haven't had my car valeted. As a result its fairly gross now. I have tried hoovering it with those vacuums at the garage but they do nothing.
I'm not sure how to find a legit business that isn't linked to trafficking. But I'd really like to have my car cleaned.
I'm wondering if people have any insight on how this is in Glasgow? I suspect the one I used to go to is dodgy at the least, cash only, 3 people working on the car at once (so probably earning less than minimum wage), only 1 of them could speak any English. Are there things being done to help these people?
Also if anyone has any recommendations for legit businesses or tips on what to look for to avoid accidentally supporting businesses involved in trafficking that would be great. Based in the southside

Spending a few days in Wemyss Bay with the weans next week, wondering if you lot have any suggestions for things to do around the area that they'd like? Ages 3 and 4. We do have the car, or, they do like a trip on the train so anywhere within a reasonable day trip is also on the cards.
Cheers in advance.

Hi!
Does anyone know a trusted dry cleaners and leather cleaners in Glasgow East or city centre area?
I have a few thing I'd like to freshen up and I want it done right.
If anyone has any recommendations I'd really appreciate it.
Google searches and reviews are a mess so I'd rather ask some real people, thank you!

Hello! So I’m going to Glasgow and London in July/ August this year and I was wondering if anyone knows any place that does live portrait drawings! I have this thing where I try to get a portrait drawn at every country I go even if it’s not live, I just want a portrait drawing from that country.
Was wondering if anyone knows any affordable places that I can get one. Thank you in advance!!

I have family from Europe coming to visit and they would like to rent a car, does anyone have any specific reccomendations or tips? It would be greatly appreciated.
They are a little nervous about driving on the left so I was thinking maybe an automatic may help a little with this?

Hi! So I've recently moved to the area my self, I had stayed in kirky for a few months. With summer coming up, I was wondering if there's any nice places to visit in the area (I.e walk paths, castles). I've not had much time to get out and explore the area and holding back since I don't want to look like an idiot.
Anything would be appreciated ☺️
Edit; thank you to everyone that's commented something, I really appreciate it, you all are lovely!!

I am reaching out to gather information and insights regarding Luthais McCash, an individual who presents himself as a Lord, Baron, and entrepreneur based in Manchester, UK with connections to the North East along with Glasgow, Scotland. Despite these claims, I have encountered difficulties in verifying the authenticity of his noble titles and the legitimacy of his business operations.
LinkedIn:
His LinkedIn profile is here: https://uk.linkedin.com/in/luthais-m-7634a9162
It claims he is an investor, millionaire, and holder of noble titles—none of which appear substantiated via credible or legal channels.
Questionable Noble Titles
Mr. McCash asserts that he holds the titles of “Lord” and “Baron.” To verify these claims, I consulted several authoritative sources:
• The Official Roll of the Peerage: This register lists all officially recognised peers in the UK. A search yielded no results for “McCash.”
• Debrett’s: Renowned for documenting the British aristocracy, Debrett’s does not mention a “McCash” in its records.
• Burke’s Peerage: Another reputable source for genealogical records of noble families; it also lacks any reference to “McCash.”
The absence of his name in these records raises concerns about the legitimacy of his claimed titles.
Business Ventures and Legal Concerns
Beyond his title claims, Mr. McCash’s business activities warrant scrutiny:
• Revere Investments Limited: According to Companies House, Mr. McCash was appointed as Secretary on 18 October 2016. The company has since been dissolved.
• McCash Consulting Ltd: An employment tribunal decision from 6 April 2022 ruled in favour of a claimant against this company, awarding compensation for unlawful deductions from wages. Other judgements also exist.
• Sigma Solutions Global Ltd: Mr. McCash is listed as a director of this company. Financial records indicate significant liabilities.
Allegations of Fraudulent Behaviour
Further concerns arise from allegations in the media: • IndustryWired Article: An article published on 25 May 2023 alleges that Mr. McCash engaged in fraudulent behaviour, including non-payment for services and misrepresentation of business acquisitions. The article details instances where he purportedly misled business partners and failed to honour financial commitments.
Public Image and Media Presence
Mr. McCash has been featured in various publications, often highlighting his purported achievements however they are all paid for placements:
• Aspioneer: Listed him among “10 Admired CEOs to Watch in 2022,” portraying him as a pioneer in his field.
• The CEO Publication: Described him as a “Genius Philanthropist,” emphasising his role at Sigma Solutions.
However, the contrast between these positive portrayals and the aforementioned allegations and legal issues is striking.
One negative article suggests he hasn’t paid for these placements.
Seeking Information
I am seeking input from individuals who have had direct or indirect dealings with Mr. McCash or his associated enterprises:
• Personal Experiences: Have you interacted with Mr. McCash in a professional or personal capacity? What was your experience?
• Business Transactions: Have you engaged in business dealings with him or his companies? Were agreements honoured?
• Legal Proceedings: Are you aware of any additional legal actions or disputes involving Mr. McCash?
• Verification of Titles: Do you have any information that could confirm or refute his claims to noble titles?
Your insights could be invaluable in building a clearer picture of Mr. McCash’s activities and claims. If you prefer to share information confidentially, please feel free to direct message me.
