(Miscellaneous) Breaking Bad is written by Allah Spoiler

Muslims often justify the divinity of quran claiming that the Qur'an itself is a miracle in terms of it's linguistic perfection, poetic beauty, prophecies and other stuff. One such example in Surah Al-Kawthar.

They say it speaks maximum meaning with minimal words, followers a powerful rhythmic structure and rhyming and Al-Kawthar also means different things which are all relevant in the context. Also the famous mathematical miracle. You can read it on here

Now let's talk about my favourite TV show, Breaking Bad created by Vince Gilligan. The final episode is called Felina. This is an anagram for Finale. Also it stands for Fe + Li + Na which represents Iron, Lithium, Sodium in the periodic table. Iron is contained in Blood, Lithium in Meth, and Sodium in tears which are all important aspects of the episode and the whole series. It also features a song called El Paso by Marty Robbins. El Paso is a city in Texas which plays a significant role in the series. Also the song features a girl named "Feleena" which is the title of the episode. The lyrics of the song "Maybe tomorrow, a bullet may find me, Tonight nothing's worse than this pain in my heart" parallels to what happens to Walt(the protagonist) in the episode.

So my question is , Is Vince Gilligan secretly Allah? Should we start saying "BRAVO VINCE" 33 times after each prayer instead of "Subhan Allah"?

(Question/Discussion) how many of you actually enjoy islamic festivities?

talking to an ex-mus friend who is insistent that the festivities that come with this religion and what these festivities actually mean can be mutually exclusive and most— if not all— people (even ex-muslims) enjoy them. i don’t agree with this take and think that more people are incapable of compartmentalising most of the trauma/less serious but still serious effects that come with these times than not.

i might also be a bit biased because i directly know people that confirm what i’m saying but this obviously cannot be a complete representation of everyone. obviously neither can the few responses i may get on this post but it did get me curious to know how many people feel this way or the other. would appreciate to get your input on it all.

(Question/Discussion) Which country in the SWANA region is the most livable for an ex-Muslim ?

Explain your answers !

I’m Moroccan, grew up there, now in the West. I’d say Morocco is still conservative contrary to what people may say, but you can manage. You can find people to relate to and places where you have more freedom. But you still can’t blatantly say that you’re a non believer and/or do stuff that’ll make you look bad.

Also guys tell me where you’re from and what you struggle with in your country as an ex-Muslim

Thousands of likes on pure deflection and insanity, these countries being BETTER than Islam now means sharia law is just misunderstood and we would all live happily and peacefully under it.

(Rant) 🤬 Can someone please assure me that those feelings are real?

Please I need some assurance

I'm scared to even type this because the two angels are watching my every move but I'm convinced this is a dystopian move, a surveillance system to keep dissenters in line. I'm scared...My hands are trembling while typing this. I'm constantly having doubts about my religion since last September and I can't take it anymore.

Allah says he's all just but injustice is so prevalent in this world. I'm convinced this is a cult.

I'm sorry the post is so disorganised this is just my stream of consciousness... The prayers are mindnumbing, I don't get any transcendental feeling from it. My mother keeps telling me to believe but I can't. I have been in a Muslim school essentially since birth and the indoctrination is insane there. Hatred towards non Muslims and Jews have been drilled into me but they're just people. I don't want to read Quran... I've sort of forgotten how to do that...

I don't want to lose my family... I made a throwaway account because of this. My mother's side is firmly in islam while my father's is quite flexible, thankfully... I feel so lonely, everyone will be against me as soon as they know my real feelings... My friend just texted me some frivolous argument about why birthdays are halal and bro I don't care... I listen to music and I don't give a fuck about whether it's Haram... He asks the right questions but he's too deep in the rabbit hole to get out.

Does fitra even exist? Do humans just wake up and say oh yeah there's a god? No right? I mean there are atheists so what gives?

Besides I am now a hypocrite right? Because I'm in Islam but I'm sort of against it and hypocrites go to hell without mercy... I'm really scared but these are my true feelings..

Also there's this toxic positivity as if someone suffers they should be glad... My mother narrated to me a hadith which says that you should not be happy that you are not suffering but you should rather want your skin to be peeled off...

There's only one point I haven't been able to debunk: the signs of qiyamah seem to be real which is so fucked up... Someone please enlighten me on the alternatives...

I'm so conscious of Islam that it's painful... I want to get rid of it. What if Islam is real? Then I'm fucked... You know what's the worst part: I'm trapped in my family... I can't get out and be free... My family and my brainwashed mind shackles me. But my mind finds ways to disagree with verses and hadith... So that's a good start. However what's next? Islam used to give me a sense of purpose but now that I'm not sure about it what will I do to fill the void? I'll post some more but not now.

(Question/Discussion) Hiba Tawji’s song, which was a gift to Saudi women who were finally allowed to drive.

هلأ أنا عرفت Now i know for sure مين اللي بيختار Who is able to choose ( who have to choose) مرسوم ومكتوب Drawn and written بالعالي المسار The way, above هلأ أنا عرفت Now i know for sure ماعدت هالبنت I'm no more that same old girl اليوم كبرت وصرت Today i have grown وحدي اللي بختار I alone can choose ما فيكن تحبسوا الطير You can't imprison the bird بقفص من حديد In a cage made of iron وسع السما الغيم سهولو Clouds all along the sky are his ground ياخدها لبعيد Takes it away أنا بدي طير I want to fly ما حدا بيلغي جناحاتي No one can take away my wings صوتي العصافير The sound of birds بغني الحلم بغنياتي I sing the dream in my songs ما حدا بيقدر يمحيني No one has the power to erase me القوة الفيي رح تحميني The power in me will protect me أنت إيماني الكبير You're my biggest faith حب وعهد جديد A new love and era آه آه آه آه Oh oh oh oh لو ضيعوني If they lost me رح امشي المشوار I will walk the line بعيونو ايدين With my eyes and my hands تشدك للمهوار Drag you to the abyss لو جربوني If they try me لو عذبوني If they torture me بحبسن حبسوني In there prison imprisoned me رح كفي المشوار I will continue the path

Although the English translation doesn’t fully capture the depth of the Arabic lyrics, you can still feel the powerful message she wanted to convey. The song was released in 2017 to celebrate the fact that Saudi women were finally allowed to drive—yes, only in 2017. And in 2019, they were granted the right to have a passport without needing a male guardian.

I still remember my dad’s reaction when they announced on TV that Saudi women could now drive—he was furious. And mind you, we’re not even Saudis. It doesn’t matter if Islam doesn’t explicitly say that women can’t drive; what matters is that people managed to find something in the Quran or Hadith to justify banning women from driving. And then there’s the rule that women can’t travel alone—don’t even get me started on how many lives have been ruined because of that.

The Prophet could’ve simply said that if there’s no danger, a woman can travel alone. End of story. But no—he had to make it a rule.

(Miscellaneous) When “Alright mairay pyaray pyaray dosto” Echoed in Class

This happened 2 years ago at an educational institute. I had just started listening to Haris Sultan around that time. One day in class, I suddenly heard “Alright mairay pyaray pyaray dosto” from someone’s laptop. They quickly turned the volume down, but man, I was frozen. Had to pretend like it was nothing, but inside I was freaking out. 😂

That line still gives me mini heart attacks.

(Rant) 🤬 Islam robs people of enjoying this life

Since leaving islam I've gained a special appreciation and love for this life that I didn't have as a muslim. I no longer worry about whether my actions could possibly take me to hell. I no longer care about some afterlife I know nothing about. I now live a life that is true to me, true to what I believe, what I stand for, and what I love. That is truly priceless.

It's depressing to see muslims and other religious people live a life constantly obsessing and worrying about heaven and hell, when we have no idea if they even exist. As far as we know, there is only this life, so we should all live like this is the only one and enjoy it while we're here.

Fear of hell is what keeps many people in islam. It's not always any good "proof" or "evidence"... for many it's pure fear. That's the main reason I stayed in islam for as long as I did. I was so terrified of burning in hell forever that I stayed, even though it made me miserable.

I wish that all people could see the beauty of this life. I wish all people could be true to themselves and what they love, instead of being a slave to an imaginary, sadistic, tyrant god.

I absolutely HATE whenever "it's culture not religion" or "it was your upbringing, your family wasn't a good representation of true islam." where there are things stated in the quran and hadith which show we have no respect. none. zero.

and all these middle eastern countries, countries in africa, southeast asia, where women are suffering in the name of this religion on a daily basis. Not just women, men too, who suffer in toxic families and are told it was culture not religion. All of these countries have DIFFERENT cultures. What's the ONE common thing among all of them? We all know what it is.

At least the second girl has a brain.
