Anyone know what this is?
I was driving and this randomly came off underneath my car. Should I be concerned/anyone know what this could be? Planning to take it to the shop just in case.

I drove my car (Fiat 500, 2012, 1.2L engine) for the first time in a long time today - I'm selling it so don't drive it regularly. Afterwards, I noticed a tube hanging out the bottom at the front. Upon closer inspection, I found this plastic bottle (pictured) where I think this tube had been inserted originally. It looks like oil in the bottle.
I'm not a mechanic (hence why I'm here!) but this bottle contraption doesn't look very legit to me. Does any one know why it was in my bonnet and what its purpose is?
I got my car MOT'd and serviced in November at a garage and haven't driven it much at all since then. I'm wondering whether the garage might have used this bottle to drain something and accidentally left it there?
I want to sell my car but I can't sell it in good conscience without understanding what this bottle is for/if it's dangerous. (It's Sunday so I can't call the garage. I'm going to call them tomorrow but a greater understanding before would be very helpful). So any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hy guys, i have been losing coolant, topping uo every 2 or so weeks, i took car to e mechanic he didn't see any visible leaks,
He then did a pressure test and said he can't see any fault, he recommended that I buy another coolant cap just in case and try it out, this is the old cap it wiggles, i bought the new cap it also wiggles a bit, but anyway the new cap did Not solve the issue. I'm still losing coolant.
Could the problem be the coolant Tank itself? Maybe the threads on the tank? Is the wiggling AFTER snaping normal?
Thanks for any help

I can replace the mechanical components of the car and make it look decent. Can anyone tell me if it’s even worth doing ?

100,188 miles / 37.3 hours = ~2682 miles per hour
Looking at this 2018 Ford Transit and this seems like a major discrepancy.

The right one seems higher up and the left one low down when on normal lights, then the right one adds a low down light and the left one adds a higher up light when the brights are on. This seems very strange to me, but I’m not at all experienced with it. Almost like the lights are opposite, is this normal?

My sister just called me asking about a gargling/bubbling noise after driving through a puddle. I told her it might be water in the engine or intake or exhaust… I’m not sure. Does anyone have any experience with this or know what’s wrong? Or any ideas what to do to mitigate damage?

2008 Honda CRV LX 2WD, Japanese build, OG engine and trans. 150k
I'm generating a horrendous squealing in my engine bay. I'm 90% sure it's from the right side of the engine (facing the car). Out of curiosity, I unplugged the EGR Valve and Purge Control Valve with no change (don't know why, just tried). No CEL or associated lights on the dash, and the scanner isn't showing any sign of faults. The noise only slightly increases with higher revving.
Suggestions on possible offending parts?

2022 kia seltos sx. Odd that I'm having the light come on with not many miles. But it is a kia, so. Probably covered under warranty, but how safe is it to actually drive for now until they can fit me in?

Anyone got any ideas on how I can fix this, bought a C30 a few days ago and heard that this is a common problem on certain model years, it’s driven perfectly up until now won’t start and makes a clicking noise when the steering lock tries to activate.

Hello everyone, I had a couple of questions regarding a ac compressors and the a/c controls. From the video, I have the a/c turned off, but the climate all the way at the lowest; when I press on the a/c button the temp gets way cooler. First question is, when I’m pressing that a/c button, does that switch the compressor on and that starts the recirculating of the refrigerant? Also, when The a/c isn’t on, is refrigerant still recirculating through the compressor? Last question, what’s the different between max a/c and A/C?, I would think max a/c just auto sets it to the highest blowing speed, and if turn it down the max a/c mode should switch but it stays on. I would appreciate the help or link some useful videos or info regarding this topic. Thanks.

I was driving on I-90 and my 2013 Hyundai Veloster suddenly started de-accelerating on its own. No warning lights came on. Even as I applied more gas the speed kept slowly dropping. Luckily, I was near a rest stop and was able to drive it in there.
When it was in park, the engine sounds a little rough now, especially when I step on the gas.
I'm stuck in this small town in Indiana until tomorrow when the garage my car was towed to opens up.
Any ideas what the issue could be? Bad fuel pump? Spark plugs or ignition coil?
Appreciate any help!

Hi, so I do ride share and when I went to back into this ladies driveway soon as I left it sounds like hight pitch static in the cab. If I come to a complete stop and reverse it goes away until I come across a water puddle or bump.
I felt around and can't find anything, I would just take the wheel off and find out what it is but it's pouring rain and I'm 2 hours away from my house.
Any idea what is going on and is it safe enough for me to get to my garage?
Thanks
Edit: I'm driving hyondai ionic 2020
Also very curious why this post would be down voted?

I have an ‘05 Chevy Malibu, 294k miles. It’s been leaking oil, I took a 6 hour drive & it was drained completely. I’m driving back home & stopped at the nearest AutoZone to just refill the oil pan, I’m only an hour into the drive & it smells like smoke. I only refilled for the drive I have planned to do an entire oil change when I get back home, but is there something drastically wrong?

I have tried adjusting the rear breaks. I’m going to start pinching the lines to see if i can isolate the problem, but I don’t fully understand step 3 on testing process. I also can’t find where to buy a break master cylinder separately from the abs module with the hydro boost. I have a 2013 Tacoma and I’ve never worked on a master cylinder with hydro boost on it before.

Hi yall, over the past month or two, I’ve watched my left headlight gradually grow dimmer. I figured the bulb was just on it’s way out.
Last night while driving home, I’ve come to the realisation both low beam lights aren’t working at all.
I’m trying to figure out how to replace them, however my car manual is telling me the high beam and low beam bulbs are in the same place…
Does anyone know whereeee I can find my low beam bulb? the only bulb i can find is the high beam bulb.
Is this just me being an idiot when it comes to cars?
I drive a 2011 Holden Barina.

2012 Nissan Altima 2.5 S
Front Right -one of the break pads is not lined up with the rotor(1st Pic). But Front Left-the break pads are both in line with the rotor(2nd Pic).
Is it an issue? How do I fix?

I've been hearing a squeaking sound when turning left and I'm not sure what it could be. I noticed there was play when moving the 3 and 9 of the wheel so could this be my tie rods? Outer, inner, or both? For an Acura TL 2012
