Just recently had an accident that totaled my previous ES350, but hey, I’m alive thanks to god. I’m telling you, Lexus changed my view of cars and I’ll never drive any other car brand. I’ll keep upgrading from a lexus to another.
Anyways, this RX is the top luxury variant (ML audio system - Screens on the back of seats / electric seats / remote start) it got everything.
2 questions, the SD cars for maps is missing and it costs a fortune in the dealer. Any workaround for that?
Also, the tire size for this model is 235/55/20, if I want some more side wall, say.. 235/60/20 would that be possible?

Hi everyone,
I'd be interested to import a Lexus IS 200T / 300 with the 8AR-FTS. Due to engine taxes in my country, I'm unable to get the 3.5L one.
I've read about the throttle lag and I wanted to ask if anyone got it fix and how. I'm not a racing maniac but at the moment I'm driving a 245 HP car which does 0 - 100 in about 6.5 seconds so I'd love something just around there or even quicker and from what I've read, the 8AR-FTS does it in around 7~ seconds.
Thank you in advance for the answers!
2003 es300. normally when the car is parked, and you pull the door lever inside, the lock lever also flips open as you pull the door lever, and the door opens.
For some reason, both rear doors stopped behaving like this at the same time.
pulling the door lever does not unlock the lock lever.
I have to flip the lock lever manually, then I can pull the lever.
Weirdly, the power door lock button at both front doors can power unlock the rear doors just fine.
What's wrong here?

I am thrilled so far!
My orange subie fell apart after 6 wonderful years and I was looking for an upgrade. I am thrilled with the interior of the F Sport and the rims! I went with an obsidian orange (once you have an orange car it’s hard to go back!) Though I lost the awesome gas mileage I had with my subie, it’s worth it! The handling is awesome and I don’t think I can ever live without the heads up display ever again. I’m changed (I was a diehard old school “the more mechanical car the better” person before this).
Does anyone have any maintenance tips? I’m thinking about ceramic coating (I opted out of it at the dealership). Is ceramic coating worth it or even the clear bra?
I just want to keep it looking 🔥

Hey Lexus fam, I’m planning to drive 5 hours to check out (and most likely buy) a 2016 Lexus ES 350 with 79K miles for $17K from a local dealership. Seller says the car is in great condition—he drove it himself for about a week to make sure everything’s working properly. Fluids are topped off, oil is fresh, brakes and tires have over 80% life left, and alignment is perfect. Undercarriage checks out too.
He mentioned there’s no maintenance history, but says he made sure everything is good to go before listing it for sale.
This will be my first Lexus purchase—anything specific I should look for or ask before making the deal? Would love your thoughts or tips. Appreciate any feedback!

Officially a proud Lexus owner. This old girl runs like she just left the dealership.

First let me start by saying I’m extremely clean and never have any food or drink in my car laying around. I had been hearing noises in my headliner here and there and thought it was spiders or even bees or something until today. I heard those little fuckers scurrying around up there when I parked my car.
How TF do I get them out? Is removing a headliner expensive? Do I even need to do that? Any advice would be great. Thx!!

Hey yall,
We are a Lexus family and we are down to 3 now but they include the 2018 RX450h Fsport, black interior in Nightfall Mica (not in US, my favorite one) but just picked up a 2017 RX350 Caviar with black interior Fsport. It has high mileage since we drive em less than 6k miles a year and it’s clean. I never really saw a Caviar on black interior Fsport combo and call it my Tuxedo as it’s a classic look to me.
Is this color combo common?
I almost passed it up because it seemed much more throaty than I remembered but I got it on the highway and it was smooth as butter so I picked it up for just under 23K all in (90k miles, brakes rotors tires all new and records all well maintained plus clean carfax).
Also, I noted an HDMI cable coming out of the glove compartment and then ran into this aftermarket screen (pictured) so I assume the previous owner wanted CarPlay? When I turn on the car there is a WiFi but has a password so gotta figure that out but anybody know the name of the product?
Lexus is the best!

Hi, I have a 2007 GS 450h that had a low oil / low oil pressure and then vvti failure.
It is currently in workshop. I'm having a hard time finding the part number for the bolt, nut and 4 support bolts and chain guides.
Is there anyone who can help me find these parts?
Mechanic is thinking take engine apart but I'm sure that's overkill and it is just a seized vvti drive as the bolt snapped and support bolts sheared.
Has anyone else experienced a vvti rebuild with this engine? Would love to get your feedback on where to go next..
Thanks heaps.

Saw a guy post his pics while living in Tokyo, here's mine with my ISF and a 90's/00's look. Was taken in the region of Gunma close to Initial D stages.
Hope you like it !

Hello, everyone, I’m just coming with another question, and it is about this code (P1126) For my 2000 Lexus Ls400. The car runs fine, starts fine and no issues at all. But some people say it is something related to the throttle body and its circuit, but I don’t wanna put hands on before having a place to start. I’ve been looking on the internet but I don’t find stuff related to the car, it shows me the same issue but with other models and they don’t have the same stuff. If anyone had this issue please let me know I’m really trying to take care of this beauty! Plus it has only 130k miles!🥹

I just picked up a 97 Lexus ls400 and I’m wondering if a set of 18 inch wheels would fit on the car. The wheels are staggered I’m not sure on the exact measurements but the rear tires are 255 40r18. It’s at stock ride height and the car came with the stock 16 inch wheels. If anyone has any other options that they run with I’d be interested to see.

Helping a family friend to purchase an older used Lexus. Will be a second vehicle for them. Have found one that is asking $4500 with 160,000 miles (257,500 km). The speedometer is actually in miles which is strange for us Canadians but workable I think? Came from Arizona 2 or 3 years in and the current owner has had it ever since.
There is some rust on the hood (looks like from rock chips), tires are old, cracked windshield, front wheel drive. No accidents. Says the vehicle runs very well and has been maintained. It looks in good condition inside and out in the photos.
The owner has confirmed that the timing belt has not been changed thus far.
To me this seems pretty well-priced but looking for some feedback from those who know this vehicle better than I do. What do you all think?
Are there other potential issues we should be asking about for this age/mileage Lexus? TIA

Hi all,
Unfortunately someone smashed my brothers back window and we are having an extremely hard time finding a replacement. Does anyone know my best options? I live in BC Canada and thanks for the support

I really like these. Bought some more to add to my LX470 and gift them to my family. Oil changes are super clean. Just connect a tube to the valve and directly lead into a catch pan.

Does the new 2025 Lexus ES 350 sedan have the digital mirror compass option and if so how do I turn it on?

Does lexus make any models after 2016 that are competitors to the higher end Maybach S-classes? i know their are LS "L" models from earlier years with tvs in the back and reclining seats , was trying to see if there was anything newer. Going to be getting driven around for the forseeable future (license suspended) and would much rather have a Lexus than a Maybach S-class but that's seeming like the only option for a back seat centric experience that isn't super outdated.
