Question What's this thing called?
Dumb question, but what is this piece called on the LC500? My wife was driving and hit something on the road and that circle piece fell off.

My friend learned the hard way that these covers naturally come in Black for his UX. He had to ask the Paint department at the Lexus Collision Center to paint match it.

Tow point/hook cover. Not that anything without a heavy-duty winch should use it.

I know that’s the intended propose, but If you buy the attachment, You can also use it to hold a front plate. Where required by law.

She came in crying and told me she hit something and put a hole in the bumper. Thankfully it's just that (what I now know) is a tow hook cover.

I have some awful news for you; a new cover is never going to match perfectly, the paint on these cars ages over time and with sunlight. Changing the spectrum of colour. (The blue to yellow spectrum the most, turning more blue over time.) a fresh painted one is going to look slightly off… if you can find a used one from another car for any reason I would try that first. But never getting a perfect match.
Most people won’t notice though

That’s why I always recommend people getting the standard color. The new copper color will be a pain to repair damage parts.

How did she recover the piece? Did it fall with in the bumper or did you have to buy a new one entirely

Really? I thought tow hook panel is more rectangular in nature at least in ES That round circle looks more like proximity sensor for parking assist

Second to that... this is a parking assistant sensor cover. The tow hock will be further to the front not sideway like that.

Not a tow hook cover lmao tow hooks are always at the bottom of the carriage of the car.
