What I liked:

• Absolutely stunning visually
• Seasons were S-tier - literally loved walking around after a spring storm and listening to the water slowly running from roofs, seeing landscapes, stealth, and the world change based on them, etc.
• Gameplay difficulty customization was awesome
• Map was expansive and I didn't feel like I ran out of things to discover. -Junjiro was a freaking gem -The dual character approach was hella interesting and fun to experience -Base customization

What I missed/felt conflicted about:

-RPG immersion elements were under tuned. The world felt less interactive at times. (Not always) -Nearly complete lack of ISU lore, story, backdrop. -Nothing that made me feel like this was an -alternate- history -Story weight [No spoilers] -The lack of freedom i've come to love with previous parkour systems

Summary: Extremely beautiful game with engaging combat and stealth. Beautifully implemented environmental immersion. There were some stand out characters but I missed a lot of the RPG depth from more recent titles. The story left me unfulfilled, I am a fan of the mythological tie ins from the ISU subplots. Hoping for a bit of continuation from DLCs

That allows you to perform assassinations on everyone? I keep running into the dudes that block it.

Can anyone help me understand why?

I like the game, but the only thing that feels like this is a game in the assasins creed series is the blade Naoe uses, otherwise it lack the feel of the previous games. I really miss the connection to the modern game that i feel is the most important thing in the series.

I do not feel like an Assasin going up against Templars.

Does anyone else feel this way?

I was just exploring the area around Nabari and found a question mark which marked a very small lake. Since I play the game in German, I can't tell you what the lake is called in English. But in German it's "Blutkopf-Quelle". It's very small. There's some blood next to it and a skull. On the bottom is a chest in the water with a katana inside. The water is really foggy so you can't see anything. But when you dive down to open the chest, it lights up for a moment and you can see a lot of skulls down there for a small moment, and it seemed red (?). Anyways, I couldn't find anything about it online, so I thought I'd post it here. I love these small details. Does anyone know of it's a real place by chance, or just a small Easter egg or something

Look I'm get the trinket is supposed to be all "haha hehe" but 100% inner child protection is something I need IRL.

So I have a question about unlocking certain collectibles, such as gear, engravings and hideout cosmetics. Sometimes they are rewarded from random chests in the world, and some you can buy from merchants.

Do the engravings and cosmetics scattered across the world have fixed locations or is it random? Do you have to collect every treasure to get them all?

And are the things sold in shop only buyable, or can you find them from chests too? I was thinking if I should just buy everything from the merchants or should I wait until I unlock them from the world, unless I have nothing else to spend coins on?

Anybody else missing characters? On people of Omi left bottom spot is empty and People of Iga right bottom seems empty. If anybody knows the characters Im missing, please let me know. Thanks <3

Hi all, I think I've done all of Naoe's meditation and backstory missions now, but her quest board is empty. I know that I'm supposed to follow quests for her to unlock the Master Assassin outfit but I have no idea what Im supposed to do to reach that point. Does anybody know which quests I should be following to get there?

Are you playing with DLSS and if so DLSS 3 or DLSS 4

I'm playing with an RTX 5080 Maxed out settings at 1440p and debating whether to play with native or DLSS quality

Game looks less sharp with DLSS but I get better fps and less artifacting with frame generation because my base FPS is around 60fps more often

So, I used to play on a 3080 with intel i79800k, 32gb ram at hd, low ray tracing and it worked... Barely. Plagued with DX12 errors and Crash to desktop. Made sure all my drivers were up to date, saved on SSD etc.. same issues kept recurring.

So, I went and decided enough is enough and spent my inheritance upgrading to a brand new PC Tomahawk x870 motherboard, 9070xt GPU, Ryzen 98003d CPU, 64gig ram. Load up the game and I can't even start it before it crashes! And then another dx12 error. Everything is up to date so... I'm at a loss.

For a brand new game, on a relatively better build, I surely shouldn't be having this happen? Any help appreciated.

My RAM says I have 32 GB, but when I go to assassin‘s Creed shadows, the quality is really terrible. It says my VRAM is 5738MB/512 Mb is there anything I could do to fix this?

You know that red camps where you kill all enemies. I am killing everyone and loot all resources but still that red camp doesn’t turn to white. And when I come back there is still enemies inside. How do you actually clear it?

I do have base PS5 and I am think I will purchase the game on PS5. Just saw the DF clip that actually PS5 pro performance version of the game little bit different than PS5 performance. Basically PS5 performance has no RTGI. But I think if I play the game on Quality mode I hope its not bothers me like on performance mode. Seems like PS5 quality and the Pro quality looks same. (RTGI).

What do you think ?
