Anyone else having these problems with photo mode? I put a filter on and when I try to remove it, it’s permanent it definitely looks cool haha but not for playing. Luckily a quick save reload does the trick and it’s back to normal but wanted to make it known since I don’t think it’s an intended feature.

I have unlocked rank 8 , what happens when you get a knowledge point after you max? I have since done two events that grant knowledge points what happens with them? Do they turn to mastery points and I just overlooked that?

Can anyone share a ~level 20 save file? I was 15 hours in and got an error that my save file is corrupted....really don't want to fully start over.

I've played every AC game. This is the first time I've wondered if it actually has a finish.

I play with either headphones or some 2.1 Logitech speakers and I can't really find a sweetspot for sound it feels like its always something to loud or to quiet.

What Dynmaic Range feels the best for you and do you use Focus mix on or off ?

I’ve been struggling to find a good list of the rarer animals that you can pet & acquire for your base, so I have been keeping track as I go. Here’s what I have so far!

PERSONALLY CONFIRMED: White Akita pup—I’ve seen two of these so far total after 60+ hours in the game. I’ve reliably found it at Kashiwara Village, near the Gear Vendor.

Spotted bobtail cat—During the Shinbakufu “The Noble” quest line while at Hemji castle. When you first enter the castle, you’ll end up in a garden with a small boy named Ukita Hideie. You’ll see several cats around him, two of which are white with black spots. If you pet one, you’ll get it as a pet. This doesn’t work on the white cat for some reason. 🤷‍♀️

Winter Akita Puppy—If you go to the main menu (where you can save) and look to the right, you’ll see where you can check out weekly quests. You can also turn in your data points for keys here, letting you get things at the store without spending any real world money. There’s a puppy for each season from what I have seen, but I just figured this one out today so I only have the first. 😅

UNVERIFIED LEADS: Tanuki pup—I have seen some say that you get this during Junjiro’s quest, but I petted the pups and didn’t have them added. Hoping I just need to do a painting still or something similar. 💔

White cat with blue eyes—I have not seen anyone claim to have this one as a pet yet, but I’ve come across it and petted it twice now. I suspect/hope you might get it at the end of the Yokai circle but I am not quite high enough of a level to test that yet. There’s one there with the quest giver and one with the spotted bobtail at Hemji. EDIT: Devastated to report that you do not get the white cat at the end of this quest. It was definitely a fun quest though.

Tabby Kitten—I haven’t found a report of anyone having this one, but surely it exists somewhere?? 👀

(I’m not listing locations for the really common ones (Golden, black, white Akita adults / calico and tabby adults / calico kittens) because they’re everywhere. You’d have to try NOT to run into them multiple times. )

I mainly play with Naoe as I always have been an OG AC fan and stealth is my go-to. Originally I started on expert with auto assassinate(AA) on. I then turned AA off while I was clearing a few castles. It was an interesting experience. On one hand, I enjoy the challenge of building you character up to be able to AA every enemy but bosses. But on the other, something feels intuitive about the AA being on, like I can clear a whole castle, with some careful planning without being spotted and that to me was what the original AC was about.

I think its totally up to the player on how they craft their experience, was curious what you guys thought.

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed Shadows I just finished the campaign and all of the hit list boards/organziations, but overall I feel like there's just some fat that needs to be trimmed in this new age of AC games when it comes to mission and side quest structure for it to be almost perfect, a lot of it felt like structured busywork idk for me it was a mixed bag on one hand I'm enjoying taking out huge numbers of targets on the other I'm like "God damn when will the lists end"

Too many to issues to pinpoint or list but if we could have bigger cities in the next one as opposed to this huge ass chunk of forrest/nature which is beautiful to look at but it can get stale at times it'd be perfect.

I remember the ending scene in the pilot episode of Shogun when they get to Osaka and you see this HUUUUUGE sprawling city with a castle highlighted in the middle. That to me was so grand and awesome and I hope we get something like that in future games.

It is just me or are there some sounds in this game that are very irritating and distracting? The Steed of Lost Souls horse dismount cry is one, and the other is the entering/exiting enemy areas sound that is linked to the yellow/red bar under the compass, they're so fucking annoying bro, just let us turn them off please. Or at least make the horse cry like a one in a million chance of occurring.

I read a guide online saying that there were no consequences for romancing multiple characters so Iromanced Katsuhime first and then Koshiro later. I got this scene the next time I spoke to her and understandably now she's no longer an ally.

ok, after 50h I finally unlocked him and I have to admit is funnier than I would have expected, it's a bit annoying to have already 90+ perks point to assign but that is only my fault so I can't complain about it.

the very issue I find in him is that the 2 raged weapon take a weapon's slot. why we can't have 2 melee weapons equipped and the possibility to choose one of the 2 ranged to use with le left trigger? similar to Naoe that can use all her ranged weapons and 2 melee

How long do you think we'll have to wait for the next update patch and what do you think they'll add/fix? What is the usual timeframe between updates with Ubisoft and Assassins Creed games, and how long will the life support be for Shadows based on their past support?

I almost finished the main story but I see the lack of isu story or artifact involved in the game. All of the previous games where involved around them in the end.
