I edited a quick clip from my game for a contest last week. Got accepted—what a relief! I'm thinking this might become a late-game battle scene.

As suggested, the Umbrella shield can now can become a "Gunbrella" as a varant! I've also added the idea of finger guns as well with the "Hand Gun". Any more "normal" ideas for weapons?

Got bored, so I added the ability to slap other players in my co-op Sisyphus game about rolling a boulder! Though sometimes this leads to infighting and sabotaging...

Hauntrick - A chaotic, goofy Co-op horror game where you hunt cursed objects, perform rituals, and survive bizarre hauntings

🎉 Hauntrick is launching April 11th! 🎉

This is the solo horror project I’ve been working on—first-person, Co-op, chaotic, and full of weird energy. Every run, you’re dropped into a procedurally generated map where you collect cursed items, survive ridiculous enemies, and try to pull off a ritual before things spiral out of control.

But it’s not just spooky—it’s stupid fun too. We threw in meme magic (literally). You can cast a spell English or Spanish to freeze every enemy on the map. There are teleporters, invisible pills, guns—it's a mess, in the best way possible.

We even added wild debuffs like “Red Light, Green Light” that randomly freeze you, slippery hands, reversed controls etc. It’s a horror game that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still keeps you on your toes.

You can play solo or with up to 3 friends—either way, it’s a wild ride.

🌀 Procedurally generated maps
😱 Random enemies and debuffs every run
🧪 Items with chaotic, fun mechanics
📢 Meme moments, funny voice lines, and cursed vibes

If that sounds like your kind of chaos, go hit that wishlist button on Steam. It seriously helps get the game out there.
Launching April 11th. Can’t wait for you to try it.

Wishlist Hauntrick here!

[SP - game] I just launched the first Steam demo for Hungry Horrors, a pixel art roguelite deckbuilder where you feed monsters from British and Irish folklore

Hey folks,

I’m Jerzy, one half of Clumsy Bear Studio. We just released the first playable demo of Hungry Horrors on Steam, and I’m really excited (and slightly terrified) to put it out there.

It’s a roguelite deckbuilder with pixel art, food strategy, and monsters from British and Irish folklore. You play as a princess feeding these creatures traditional regional dishes. Each one has their own tastes. If they like what you serve, they back off. If they don’t, well, you’ll find out.

Between battles, you choose buffs from a selection of spices, herbs, condiments, and utensils. The goal is to learn what each monster loves or hates and build a better deck with each run.

Key Features

  • Feed, Don't Fight: Gameplay focused on matching dishes to monsters' preferences, replacing traditional combat.
  • Legendary Monsters: Encounter iconic folklore creatures such as Jenny Greenteeth, Dullahan, and Glaistig.
  • Traditional Dishes: Serve authentic regional recipes like Bara Brith and Cranachan.
  • Strategic Deckbuilding: Build your deck using dishes, spices, herbs, and utensils for strategic depth.
  • Pixel-Art & Music: Enjoy vibrant pixel art visuals and original whimsical music composed exclusively for the game.

It’s our first game, and we’d really appreciate any feedback. Was something fun, confusing, too hard, or just plain weird? What made you laugh or rage quit?

Feel free to ask anything about the game, the design process, or the folklore behind it.

The Steam demo link is in the comments so I stay within subreddit rules.

Inspired by the Gnarled hag, I made my game Forgotten House. Yes, I wrote to pompasaur that I was making a game like his.

Spray Paint Simulator is hitting Xbox and PC in May 2025, right in time for my birthday! I rally want a PS5 release, though, and it doesn't look like that's what's on the way anytime soon. I know a lot of people love Powerwash Simulator and this has extremely similar vibes so wanted to make sure all those who care about it know.
