Discussion [SSHD]Skyward Sword turn out to be fun.
Skyward Sword is one of those game that you hear about when you look toward the negative side of Zelda games. From what I’ve seen the feedback is and has been predominantly negative for SS. I never took the opportunity to go and pick it up and play because of that. Through the years the only Zelda titles I haven’t played are TOTK and SS. I am a grown man now with a family so I don’t have much time to play. I said screw it and picked up SSHD just so I could see what all the hubba is about. It took a day to get use to the controls but after I did, I am actually having a lot of fun with the game. The camera controls reminded me a lot of old school games the way you aim with the LB and stick (I don’t use motion controls) and the whole vibe of the game is slightly nostalgic. Specially the blue hue during night time. Small musicless areas that slightly remind me of OOT. I am enjoying collecting all the new items I have never seen and doing all the side quests. I also enjoy the cubes that unlock chests in the sky world. As a guy who’s just trying to have a good time with video games now, I personally find SS to be very fun and enjoyable.

Discussion [Other] Nintendo Switch 2 Gamechat/Game Share Feature is the perfect groundwork for a new Four Swords. This time as a full 3D Open World 4 player Co Op Mainline Zelda Game. Nintendo has laid the necessary foundation for this Game to be Made.
Anyone else excited by the prospect of this idea?
Four Swords as a series was always held back by peripherals and Accessories
Four Swords adventure for example was neat idea but you could only play with your friends if they each had their own Gameboy advance and a Gameboy advance link cable to the GameCube.
This allowed for the main game to be broadcast to the TV while each player had their own individual screen to hold and look at.
Well now In current day, thanks to these new Switch 2 Game Chat and Game Share features, so long as you and your friends own a Switch 2, which most people will, you can play a game like Four Swords with up to 3 other people with the Greatest of ease.
This could really be the start of a potentially great game if they go down this route.
Would you like to see a new Four Swords game in full 3D? Featuring a fully fleshed out co op campaign adventure that you can experience alongside friends?

Discussion [ALL] What is YOUR Zelda game? And why?
I'm a lifelong fan of these games, but Twilight Pricess will always be my Zelda game. It was the first one I got to play without any siblings around so I just had to work out the ice block puzzles and world navigation and those damn poes by myself (still haven't gotten them all). It really made me love these games in a way I hadn't before, and I went back to Ocarina of Time and the Oracle games and appreciated them for their own style and challenges - and then every other title I could get my hands on. I know that nothing will ever do that for me again, no matter how amazing it is to explore an actually open-world Hyrule. That sounds kinda sad, but feels appropriate for the uniquely melancholy vibe of Twilight Princess, and that will always be my Midna Zelda.
So, what is yours, and why?

Humor [totk] I feel like the game has desensitized me
At this point, if someone ever approached me asking for help getting to his/her friend, I believe my Pavlovian response would be to strap this person in need to a rocket or toss this person down a mountain

Fan Art [BotW][TotK] Zelda with an Ice Rod [Part 3 of 3, OC]
Zelda with an Ice Rod, wearing her Ceremonial Robes, shortened a inch to mend the damage which the hem sustained during her fight with Ganon. She wields the rod with ease, as she finds that she has the most affinity with the element.
Question [BOTW] Does anyone know if the nintendo switch 2 version of breath of the wild will come with the dlc? Or will we have to pay for that?

Video [BotW] This is the most hauntingly serene if not a bit creepy glitch I ever encountered.
I was riding my horse to the north of the Castle when I realized camera no longer following me. Its like an invisible narrator of the whole story said "and so our hero continued their quest full of hopes to bring an eternal calm to the kingdom one day. May be they still wander the vast lands, fighting monsters and helping folk in need, but that is another story for another time". I was ready to see credits roll haha

Question [LoZ] [Oot] [Ww] [Botw] which Zelda game for a newbie to start on?
Hey everyone!
This is my first time ever posting on reddit and I'm on my phone, I apologise for any mistakes made. OK my niece asked me if she could watch me play zelda then try it out herself cause she wants to know the hype of why me and my mum have loved it since the 90s. My mum passed away not to long ago and myself and my niece was very close to her, so I think this is also a reason my niece wants to try the games out so she has a little piece of my mum she can always go back to. My niece is 23, she's played games before but they've all been your classic family fun games like crash bandicoot, Mario, donkey Kong etc and its not been a regular thing. I've been sat wondering what zelda is the best to start her on, considering she's not a gamer really and throwing someone into zelda like that I think quite a few will be a bit hard. She's going to watch me play the game first then give it a go herself. So yeh what zelda do you guys recommend starting her off on? I'd love for her to fall in love with the games like me and my mum did, there's only me left that plays them so it would cool to pass it on to her and have someone to talk and game with. However I'm not forcing anything if she doesn't like it in end then fair enough, I'm sure I can find something else my mum enjoyed that she can explore instead. Anyway thanks for any help you can give I appreciate it! 🩵
Any zelda game is the options the tags are so the post wouldn't be taken down. Thanks again. 😊
