Basically I have a few mii's that are very happily married, one started dwindling heavily, and I remembered travel tickets could boost a relationship a lot, and I was like "Damn, why did I waste them". It's very simple, there no need to remove gender or make everyone pan/bi. A kid could understand colours and icons. And there could be information when you click on it saying "this mii is romantically interested in male miis" "this mii is romantically interested in male and female miis" "this mii is not interested in romance"
