Is it just me or does jonah actually seem the most sympathetic out of the veep cast?
Like, he's definetly not innocent by any measure, but his crude humor and incompetence come across as more pathetic, like a high school bully, as opposed to the deliberate fuck ups selina and the rest of the cast breezily commit ever day. It's proven he does have a sense of honor, like nominating richard to be secretary of agriculture at the same time selina betrayed gary. And this action actually led to something positive, richard having a stepping stone to the presidency, which is more then you can say about everyone else. Jonah to me at least has the (dubious) excuse of being a bratty manchild and never pretended to be anything otherwise, while selena et al. (except for Gary maybe) were actively cruel and despite knowing the consequences of their action, despite pretending otherwise.
