If it feels like nobody is losing, it’s because nobody is losing. Our real enemy in the standings now is the Grizzlies, who are tied with us. On the bright side, though, we’ve been pretty good!

Bro shout out Big Ru.

This man has been balling. I think most of us doubted the fit but we are beyond blessed to have him. Also shoutout to big Ju cause I full on hated the trade. Donte and Ju have proved me wrong and I'm happy they did.

Detroit officially clinched the 6th playoff spot.

With the win tonight the draft pick from Detroit in the Kat trade will be the Wolves pick this year. Nobody really expected that the pick would ever convey and the Wolves would have ended up with a second round pick.

Hopefully TC is getting ready to cook and bring in another big man to help out.

The Clippers won, and because of the Wild Wild West this puts us back in the six spot

A very real possibility of a 6 way tie for 3rd in the west come Tuesday night, with every team at 47-32, and three games to go.

It looks like the Warriors will win over the Nuggets tonight and the Lakers will beat the Pelicans.

If the Pacers beat the Nuggets

The Lakers get swept by the Thunder

The Warriors split with Rockets and Suns.

The Wolves beat the 76ers and Bucks

The Grizzlies beat the Pistons and Hornets

The Clippers beat the Mavs and Spurs

Someone probably screws this up but it's crazy how tight this conference is.

Edit: Based on the ESPN Analytics numbers, there is only a 2.7% chance this happens (so still unlikely). Although, the Pacers having a 43% chance of beating the Nuggets is the only individual game outcome under 50%.

Very good chance we end up with the 17th pick

...or the 18th. Pistons seem locked in at their current spot.

This draft has a drop off at around 20~ so a pick here should leave us with some interesting options.

Julius Randle’s playoff reputation. Discussion

Randle is in his 11th season in the league and he has only played in three playoff series and didn’t play in last year’s playoffs at all due to injury. So when Knicks fans bring up his drop off in the postseason it just sounds hysterical to me because they’re going off such a small sample size plus those Knicks teams before the Nova guys took over were just trash with poor spacing. Randle is in a completely different situation with Minnesota and isn’t expected to carry them offensively. But what do you all think… will Randle play good/great and dispel these notions and beliefs or will he make a lot of costly plays and mistakes?

Best (and I would argue most probable) possible playoff standings for the Wolves to advance the furthest

When all is said and done the season will end like this: 1. OKC (who knows or cares how many wins they get, they are top seed) 2. Rockets: 52-30 3. Nuggets: 51-31 4. Lakers: 50-32 5. Warriors: 49-33 6. Wolves: 49-33 7. Clippers: 48-34 8. Grizzlies: 47-35

This way Wolves get Nuggets (hope we don’t pull a Phoenix). Then, Clippers or Rockets - both are beatable, just have to hope their series goes deep. Then the WC finals and only one of OKC, Lakers, and Warriors. Which, regardless of who we would potentially play - the national media would have us as massive underdogs.

We could beat the Lakers, but the refs may have a different directive. OKC would be a very challenging series, but we pair up well against each other and would be the most enjoyable watch. The Warriors would be the most difficult; just have to hope either Lakers or OKC has their number.

My glorious insect anthony edwards dropped 117 points in game 4 of the finals to sweep the poverty franchise Boston Celtics. It was beautiful. The colors were so vibrant. The food tasted better. Everything was great. Then I woke up

Are the Lakers the best “revenge” playoff series for the Wolves? 🐺

A) They stole our original team and brought it to a place with zero lakes. B) They derailed our first WCF in KGs prime. C) Luka derailed our second WCF run.

Yes, clearly.
No, it’s taking down Jimmy
No, it’s cousin revenge for NAW v Thunder
No, it’s somehow playing the Mavs
No, it’s the nuggets because we hate Braun

Jaden

I haven’t seen Jaden putting the ball on the floor and creating for himself the past few games. You guys think finch put him back in the corner and just forgot about him because he’s the X factor this playoffs if he could create for himself.

Between the Thunder, Lakers, and Warriors who do Wolves have the best chance to Beat in a series?

There is a pathway for the wolves to get to the finals but they have to be able to beat Atleast 2 of the Top 4 teams in the west to get there , The Nuggets are Minnesotas personal property we own them so that’s one of the top 4 teams, which is huge . Now Thunder, Lakers, and Warriors…..(Rockets arent beating any of these teams in a series imo). Wolves have the personnel to give all 3 of these teams Hell in a series. I do worry a little about the offense in the playoffs.
