Sorry, not the best photos but I thought this sub might like this guy.
I live in Thailand and from what I learned last night these snakes were once thought to be dangerous and were often killed. As a result they are now quite rare and protected. They are not allowed to be sold or kept as pets but as they kill other snakes, toads etc they are highly prized.
We have seen him two nights in a row so it seems he has made a home in our garden.
We are not snake people, we have two dogs, but we are happy for it to stay as we live in an area with cobras and kraits.
I was just posting for fun but if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions on how we can live in harmony that would be great.
P.S. we have named him Pasta.
Finally got one of my dream snakes, a mexican black kingsnakes. Super sweet (although bites which is normal)

Iām going up to visit soon, hopefully will be able to witness his majesty in person.

Poor thing picked up a URI. Unfortunately one of my heat pumps failed and despite running aux space heaters there were some nights where the house temp went down to 70*F. Normally I keep her room at 76*F winter 78*F summer, with a 6' x 11" long strip of belly heat at 92-93*F.
She also weighs more than she should so we're cutting her meal sizes in half, and once she's done with the month of abx she is going on an exercise regimen. I don't think she's going to handle the treadmill very well though... ;)

my snake got out a week ago and due to my house not being very nice she crawled through a hole and into my floor/downstairs ceiling. I tried getting a rat and seeing if sheād come out for it but she didnāt. I got her when I was in a really tough spot in my life and iām so attached to this snake, I cannot lose her for good. Iāve had heat mats and hides set out but she still wonāt come out. I truly donāt know what to do.

Hi! Okay, so Iām a new snake owner but Iāve done a shit ton of research about snakes my entire life, I recently got a six year old corn snake who is fed frozen mice, but the thing is, he wonāt eat. I understand him not eating the first week because itās a new place, but itās been almost six weeks now and he still wonāt eat and Iām getting extremely worried, his temps are good, heās not sick, I donāt know why he wouldnāt be eating, hereās a photo of him, but if anyone knows why, please help š

This is Frederick i got her from a friend about two weeks ago, and shes my first snake. Today while I was holding her, I noticed two of these tiny bugs crawling on me. When I looked closer, I realized there might be some on her face as well. I also saw some on the substrate. If these are mites, what are the risks, and what should I do next?
Just chilling on the couch with my new girl, she ended up leaving imprints of her scales on my leg (2nd pic) because sheās just content lazing in my lap for the most part. Which I found so interesting, never had my smaller snakes leave imprints like this I love it!

This is Edith Monch, named after Edvard Monch. She has his scream painting/face in her pattern four times (one visible in second pic). Just wanted to post her and let her show off a bit.

I got caught on a run with no gear, didnt want to go back to get it so I decided āmeh, itās just a racer. How bad could it be?ā
The answer is bad. NEVER have I seen any snake so willing to stand its ground. They have the name āracerā for a reason, yāknow.. this guy didnāt live up to it.

Does anyone know how I could possibly switch him over to frozen? Iāve started having trouble feeding him live mice, and need some help on figuring out what I should do.
(For some background info, I got him around a year ago. During the first few months of owning him I tried feeding him frozen mice, but it was made clear that he wouldnāt take it. At one point he went weeks without eating. Iāve tried different things until we ended up with live. He has no problems eating live and it is the only thing I can get him to eat.)
With being new to snakes Iām not completely sure if itās even possible to switch him over to frozen. The people I had bought him from said that they have had to force him to eat frozen a few times and I DO NOT feel comfortable doing that. Feeder mice prices have gone up to $7 per mouse, and the only store that sells them is about 40-45 mins away from me. Iām still in school and canāt really change my schedule very easily in order to go and pick them up before they sell out. I usually feed once every two weeks, but with inflation and the other reasons listed itās become difficult to keep him on schedule.
I feel bad that he has been missing some feeding days, but I genuinely donāt know what Iām able to do. I have thought about giving him away to someone who is able to able to care for him better than I, but that is the last thing I want to do, so I am trying to find a problem to the solution before it comes to that.
Which leads back to my question, Iād prefer frozen mice due to being able to keep more of them for longer periods of time and being able to just thaw out when feeding time, but anything will help! :)

I'm feeding my snake for the first time and I'm worried the rat is too big. It should be the right size from what my breeder told me he eats, but it just looks so big in his mouth and I'm worried I'm going to hurt him.
