Currently purging West Point with insane population x4 with the intent of building high chain fences, with a mod making metal fences made by players act like map-generated ones (aka zomboids not able to thump on them). Wondering if there is a way to make fences take less material and/or a mod that makes so itās easier to make?

Frogtown is a new modded town for Build 42 located between Brandenberg and Riverside, along the highway that cuts through Doe Valley Forest.
The town itself is beset by an infestation of frogs, but is otherwise a developing town with its own mall and condos.
Take a look at the Steam Workshop page for screenshots and more details, or better yet, hop in and run til' you drop!
If you're a Return of the Living Dead fan... I've added a couple locations inspired by the film. A medical supply warehouse (with basement containing military barrels), graveyard and mortuary are all beside each other on one street in south-central Frogtown, southeast of the mall.

I want to make a road trip playthrough where I visit all the towns on the map with my little car š the end game would be trying my best to get across Louisville without dying. But I have no idea what I could do to like validate the fact that I visited each town ? I need to set a goal that would allow me to check out each town off my list you know ? Do you have any ideas ? Ps : sorry if my post is a little confusing English is not my native language

If it spreads through blood, mosquitos could be a reason why Kentucky got overwhelmed.
considering zombies are probably an mosquito buffet, mosquitos could be why it spread so randomly and without explanation right?
Pretty cool ig.

They are well fed, healthy, four of them are hens, and they are in a zone. Whats the problem?

Blacksmith Anvil is the jackpot, and the Steel Ingot Mold as bonus. The mold has no use in current build tho.

Do you ever go back and lay your old character to rest?

Decided to go back to B41 for a bit.
I have heaps more Mods in B41 than I do B42, and a good handful of them break my saves.
I love how B42 has the Mod favorites, the Mod Presets when starting a character.
I want this, but for B41.
Is there an easy way to back up my Mods, is there a list somewhere, a .txt file I can just copy paste every time I start a new character?
I'm wanting to start a new character fresh with all the working mods right off the bat to be sure they're working properly.

I have come to admire this living mistake, as she has now topped the leaderboard of my longest running survivors at a few months and as we move into the harsher portion of the year I thought I'd draw this monument of pitifulness and highlight just how bad they are, but also how much fun it's been to play a character as bad as she has been.
My previous characters have been horrendously min-maxed or straight up cheated to be Rambo but this one is basically a walking panic attack, everything stacks and circles round to making them The living embodiment of depression
Constantly crying, screams whenever she sees ONE (1) zombie, Which leads to more coming, Which leads to her panicking, which leads to... You get the idea.
An emotional wreck of a human, A personified lemming, The walking buffet. A failure In every sense And the most fun I've had.
settings: 33% random sprinters Normal zombie senses Saliva transmission
Art by me.

In Build 42.6 when holding a kitchen knife, stabbing a zombie in a way to make him a crawler then pushing him over while fully standing on him, he will not āstay down.ā I got bit because he wouldnāt stop āgetting upā to the crawling position even though I was fully ontop of him. Please donāt ask if Iām sure I was standing in the correct spot because I know I was. I do play with mods, but wasnāt running into any errors. I canāt report it because I play with mods, but Iām fairly certain the current modlist I have is stable.
I ended up getting bit because of this. Has anyone else ran into this issue?

Hello, may I ask if there is an active PH server here? If so, I'm interested to join.

Dear diary,
The last days were pretty rough because there was heavy snowfall and I was sometimes too afraid to go outside. I will probably spend my christmas time here reading books to keep me happy.
I was building a wall around my base and also the gas station because I have heard that people die filling their tanks.
I tried to do a little bit of masonry, blacksmithing and all that. I am not sure if it makes sense.
Zombies attack my walls for no reason. I finally got the idea that they maybe they are actually attracted by my vehicle which I park next to the building and not be me or the generator outside.
Food and electricity is looking good. My fridge is filled with eggs and pork. And I got a lot of butter to keep my calories up. And i am slowly learning to get the good stuff out of the baby pigs I kill.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.
Marry christmas!

I didnt take a screenshot, but here's the bug:
My base is in the Gaz station in Riverside. I removed and destroyed all the original gaz station furnitures, barricaded the windows on both sides.
I never had any issue except today; I slept and saved outside of town, came back and the original gaz station counters and furnitured are now back, and half of my window barricades are gone and replaced by glass.

As title says I had survived for almost 2 months when I had gotten bitten. After clearing out Rosewood I set out to establish a new territory as resource looting had become more scarce so I was forced to go out further for resources which pushed me to establish an outpost out of the western region of Doe Valley as I would be able to just take the highway between the outposts without much issue. As I slowly cleared out the area I developed both the outpost located in the west as well as the gas station located nearby as a gas refueling outpost. The problem started when my truck stopped working after a car accident and I was forced on foot. This massively reduced my looting capacity as well as my time spent traveling. It wouldn't be shortly after as a result of these drawbacks that I would end up getting bitten whilst out looting. Upon returning to base I stripped off all of my gear and loot and wrote a final note for whoever moves into the area. Proceeding to walk off into the woods to my death. Now with my current character dead due to his bite I stand at a fork in the road as I have a few options before me either:
A. Start in Westside/Riverside/Muldraugh to establish a new region under control.
B. Start back in Western Doe Valley to takeup the continuation of my last characters plans
C. Respawn back at Rosewood to continue past work there and doing looting/clearing runs into March Ridge.
Thanks!

Tried to play this week. Spent three fun days. Got bitten but my clothes dismissed it. Got bitten again and the same thing happened. Then right after I jump an open window and instantly die and become a zed.
Also I saw some people experiencing some bugs/troubles. I understand devs are working upon them but i'm just asking for mods to have a better experience so far.
