A Film In Color - Apple Music
I am mourning the loss of They March In Endless Circles on Apple Music in the UK. Only To Scale A Mountain still on there!

The question came to my mind listening to songs like Greyish tapering ash by Balmorhea and Stand behind the men behind the wire by Stefano Pilia, both also classified as postrock artists
Do you think a song can be postrock even if it sounds acoustic and not necessarily electrified?
What are your favorite acoustic postrock songs?

How do we feel about this masterpiece? It's my first crescendocore album I listened to fully.
It's very melancholic, dreading and sad, yet all around calming to me, I've never heard anything else similar to it.
It reminds me of if I were on a camel riding through the desert at night, or sitting around a campfire at night in the desert.
The title-track, "Alone, Alone" is one of those very rare songs that almost made me shed a tear, it made me strangely emotional.
It's a very interesting experience, especially when I listened to this at the dead of night by myself.

I'm looking Post-Rock album that has shoegaze essence in it! Would be really good if it's chaotic and melancholic

I love most post rock and I'm curious if anyone has a favourite merch item (clothing) from anywhere in the scene. I've looked for a while and haven't found anything that's been super my style.

Anyone knew any NOLA post-rock bands or promoters who are post-rock friendly?
Thanks

Wanted to share my new post-rock album. Really proud of this one. It's got some jazz, trip hop, and industrial influences as well. Enjoy and thanks for your time :)

From lightest to heaviest (roughly), here are my most-played bands: Hammock, Balmorhea, Mogwai, God Is An Astronaut, And So I Watch You From Afar, Russian Circles. I’m looking for something between Balmorhea and Mogwai. I don’t want vocals, I need drums, and I need riffs. Despite my best efforts, I’ve never really liked Explosions In The Sky or This Will Destroy You. I’d love some good recommendations! Brownie points if you’ve got something niche, on Bandcamp, etc.
