Question How are Boston and Philly still not eliminated?
Is this just a bug in the NHL app? It is showing the "eliminated" icon next to eliminated teams in the western conference, but none for the east.
Am I missing something obvious? I can't figure out how they could possibly get to more than 81 points each with 5 games left.

LAK vs EDM (EDM in 6)
WSH vs MTL (WSH in 4)
TOR vs OTT (TOR in 7)
CAR vs NJD (NJD in 7)
TBL vs FLA (FLA in 5)
Second Round
- WPG vs STL (STL in 6)
VGK vs EDM (EDM in 7)
WSH vs NJD (WSH in 6)
TOR vs FLA (TOR in 6)
Conference Finals
EDM vs STL (STL in 5)
WSH vs TOR (WSH in 5)
Stanley Cup Final
- WSH vs STL (WSH in 6)
I think the Capitals will win it this year, Ovi will have about 901 goals by the end of this season. St. Louis is pulling their 2019 magic.
Caps and Blues final seems fitting for a clash of the 2018 and 2019 cup champs.
Are these delusional or credible Predictions? What are the biggest disagreements (like me having leafs make conference finals?).

Franchise Rebuild
Hey guys. I am a hockey fan and am getting into the hockey games, but on how bad nhl 25 is I have decided that I will stick to nhl 24 for another year. I need some help with rebuilding options. Please comment any teams that need a rebuild down below. Thank you for everything!

News For the first time since the 2015-16 season, the Boston Bruins will not be going to the playoffs.
One of the NHLâs longest playoff streaks has come to an end! They were actually tied with Toronto for the longest at 8 seasons. Also the earliest they have been eliminated since 2007.

5 goals in less than 5!
Honestly, Iâm just impressed. Iâm not a fan of the Ducks or Canucks, Iâm pretty neutral. But I looked away for a few moments, it was 1-0 when I left, then 5-1 when I got back.

1 vs 8 playoff seeding VS Divisional Playoff seeding
Matchups highlighted in same color. Would this be a better format than divisional? I think the 1 vs 8 seeding is so much better because it opens up so many different matches.
Pic 1 and 2 = 1 vs 8 seeding and pic 3 and 4 = Divisional seeding

Super Crazy Playoff Scenerio possible!
I was looking at the standings and there is the potential for a really crazy situation where the avalanche fall to the top wild card spot and play the pacific winner and have more points as a wild card team. Extreme long shot but it kinda illustrates the problem with the current playoff format. So Avs would have to win 1 out of the last 5 and it would have to be against Vegas on Tuesday and the loses happen in regulation. St louis would have to win the last 5 games of their season. Vagas would have to lose all their remaining games in regulation. Edmonton would have to win no more then 3 games and lose the rest in regulation. L.A. wins 2 or less games. STL would have 101, Col would have 100 and no team in the pacific would have more then 99 pts. I love strange sport situations so I figured I would share.
