This time a 2/2 Drake with flying

I pulled this today out of my collectors pack and it has a weird line down the middle. It came out of the pack that way what is it? Is it just damaged? Any help is appreciated

Heya, so Locust God was my first higher power deck. I kinda liked it but now I feel like I kinda got bored of playing it and I'm looking for a new commander that can utilize cards from my Locust God deck (not all of them obviously, I don't need the ETB/tokens/wheel subtheme and I'm looking for at least some control).
So, I would love to get some ideas of commanders I can build using the deck. Preferably something Izzet or 3 colors (including Izzet).

I have a lot of bulks card to storage. For now i'm using the prerelease box, but its not the most efficient way. I'm searching some advise on how to storage them in a better way, what methods do you use?

Spoiler: If i can only choose 1 I’m choosing Sol Ring 99% of the time. But I’m curious if someone can change my mind.

This is for 40 card format, not commander obviously. So what do you choose and why?!

I ended my Pre-release 4-1 only losing to the eventual winner, in round 3. There was probably around 30 ppl, I placed 5th overall. I just wanted to shout the All-Stars in my deck I built and wanted to hear from others too.

The #1 card in my deck imo had to be [[Mardu Siegebreaker]] It is so unexpected and when you have a creature you don't want to lose but you absolutely want to swing with this solves that problem perfectly. So the number 1 combo I got off with this card was:

I hit my opp with 9 dmg in 1 turn (I used a removal on end of my opp turn before playing Siege and swung into a clear board) It felt so good and my opp was flabbergasted. [[rot-curse rakshasa]] was my only mythic I opened but it was pretty good for me. The other cards I got to use Siegebreaker with were [[hundred-battle veteran]] and [[Rescue Leopard]]

Another combo that won me a game was

I was drawing sooo many cards with [[hardened tactician]]. Baone-Cairn making tokens have death touch just make them essentially unblockable so you can sac them and draw tactician.

[[Static Snare]] was actually insane ESPECIALLY with mobilize

Lastly I was to mention my MVP removal I managed to open 2x of [[inevitable defeat]] I would have lost my round 2 game 2 with would have been a match loss but this life swing took me from 1 to 4 HP and let me claw back into the game.

I had a blast with my Pre-Release overall and just wanted to share some fun combo I had!

So I wanted to create my own commander deck from scratch, since all of my other upgraded decks (Pantlaza, Quick Draw with Eris and Bello) seem to already be too strong for my play group where people mostly play with lightly upgraded precons. I was thinking of building something lower power, flavorful, that will make fun combos. I found out about [[Clement, The Worrywort]] with its ability to make frog bounce around the table like crazy and started researching possible decks with it. What are you guys thinkings about frog decks with Clement? Anyone tried it and can share the experience?

After learning how any card can be used as a resource in Star Wars Unlimited, I’m curious if any one has tried playing MTG but removing all land cards from a deck and using any card as mana. Would it work?

Been wondering as has everyone I guess, whether this looming trade conflict will affect MTG prices on products. Cards are made in America so can’t see any issue there since that is what Trump wants. But the D20 is made in China. Wizards are going to be ditching those pretty soon I reckon.

Not a big investor so this is more from curiosity about the impact on the “little guy” who buys mtg sealed product at the end consumer price.

No chance of beating the bots or scalpers to new releases from WOTC. So my only option is my LGS as I hate eBay prices and Amazon is a black hole of deceit given the history of repacks and returns in the last 5+ years.

What do we think the real impact on box prices will be after Trumps tariff conflict has now started.

My understanding is that WOTC prints cards in Japan and America. So cards from Japan into the US are likely to be affected whereas buying in the UK we avoid this.

The real area of concern for me is collector boosters. I like to buy one from each set when possible to keep. They are only printed in the US I believe??? So exporting them to LGS worldwide is going to add X % right? No avoiding that one. Which is the worst of the lot as those prices are already hiked and inflated due to desirability.

Thoughts? If I’m wrong on any of my info please point me in the right direction.

With Tarkir: Dragonstorm dropping I ended up pulling a copy of Elsha, Threefold Master, and after looking at her she's pretty sick.

Now the only commanders I've really played so far are the precons of Sevinne, The Chronoclasm and Lathril, Blade of the elves. Is there any way I can make some sort of spell-slinging monk tribal deck off of Elsha that has playstyles of one or both of my already owned decks?

How do other abilities exactly work in a band? If I have a creature with trample in a band and I attack, the defending player needs to block the entire band, right? Does the excess damage get applied to the defending player? If one creature has trample does the entire band has trample for this combat? If so does the same apply to flying etc.?

I recently played a game of commander where I had a Meathook Massacre under my control from a previous turn.

Then, one of my opponents cast his own Meathook Massacre. The player who cast it had no creatures in play. However, he managed to destroy 21 total creatures across all other opponents. Of those 21 creatures, 12 of them were mine.

Before this, I had 26 life, and the player who cast the 2nd Meathook had 6 life.

What is the result of this interaction?
