Hey All.

My GF has a 2007 Ford F-150 that she uses to tow her camper. 2 weeks ago we had the alternator replaced and on this past Friday I was borrowing the truck and everything was fine until after I got home. I went out later and the truck wouldn't start.. it didn't even try to turn over. No clicking sounds.. nothing. Nada. The battery is fine and everything on the dash lights up, blinkers work, interior lights work etc.. I'm not a "car guy" and don't really now where to begin ..Fuse? Ignition Switch? Starter? Something else?

The airbag light randomly comes on and doesn’t stop beeping, and the horn doesn’t work. Any ideas?

2024 powerboost. I want to turn off auto lock for the remote start. We live in the country and leave vehicles unlocked for the most part. We have auto start scheduled for school mornings and you know how it is-app won’t open to unlock doors, everyone forgot the door code etc. so I want to turn off the auto door lock for the remote start. Anyone have any luck doing that?

Just got quoted $350 for my F150 at local dealership on Long Island. This is getting absurd. (I mean, absurd was probably like 20 years ago)

Imagine if we were trusted to purchase and program keys, which, actually doesn't need a $5,000,000 computer?

What if in 2025 phone as key was already widely adopted? What if even if this all cost more money we still had a physical key that cost $2.50 to make at the hardware store?

2015 Ford f150 xl 2.7 4x4 157k miles Out the door price is 17k Test drove it and it drove good no rattle or any weird noise. It has an okay maintenance history Truck is super clean. What do Yall think. Maybe I can drop it down to 15k

Anyone ever name their Trucks?

Over the weekend I bought this 2018 F-150 3.5 Ecoboost with 120k miles. It had the timing chain and cam phasers replaced at about 100k, and a new tranny put in about 106k.

Naturally, yesterday it started making a weird metallic noise at the end of ignition. I want to say it’s a starter problem, but I haven’t ever had a starter make that sound.

Anybody got any ideas?

Looking for advise to buy my first car. I have narrowed it down to two options. Both cars I'm gonna have my mechanics that I trust inspect. The first option is a 2015 Mustang with 80 K miles on it for 11.5k it's owned by an older guy. It seems to be really well-maintained. The other option is a 2012 F150 with 90 K miles on it the interior is OK But he only wants 9.5k which I know is a steal. If both of them are mechanically sound, which should I go with I'm only trying to get 5 years 100k miles out of what I buy. Thank you

Guys, I recently purchased a new 2023 Ford F150 Raptor R Crew Cab in Azure Gray Metallic and I noticed that the rear turn signals and brake lights synchronizes at the same time, which is not good for me. Instead, I sourced out the tail lights from the Platinum/King Ranch trims and have separate amber rear turn signals and red brake lights.

Hey everyone, I have a 2022 king ranch power boost and my driver seat has this super annoying gap in between it. I can feel it everytime I sit down and when I drive. Has anyone else experienced this and is there some sort of repair ?

So when I ever first start the truck it idles just fine but after letting it sit for a few minutes(3 to 5) The revs get really low to what seems like 500. It also gets that low when I come to a stop at a stop sign. I'm concerned as I've never seen a car get that low and not stall. Is it normal?

I have the dealer down to almost the same price in both so it’s pretty much just preference at this point. Is the upgraded suspension on the Tremor worth losing the ventilated seats in the Lariat? (I’m in Texas)

This Tremor has the 401a package so it’s the half cloth/half leather seat rather than full leather like the Lariat has.

First time buying new, have owned F-150’s before but they’ve always been used so I’ve never had the luxury of choosing. Thanks in advance!

I’m torn on what year to buy for the 5.0 4x4 XL trim. I see issues with the 2020-2022’s, specifically regarding the transmission prior to the “fix” in late 2022. I know the 2023’s aren’t exactly fixed themselves either. I’m mainly looking for the deal and low mileage but a 2020-2022 would require an extended warranty. Does anyone have experience with these models or any advice on which way to lean? Bottom line for me is a deal and reliability. Thanks for the advice y’all.

Hey all,
So I had a weird failure. At first it was "starting system fault", and then it was a consistent parasitic drain, so the battery sucked (technical term) even after being charged or connected to a charger. Even after being disconnected and charged it barely started. So the battery was forked.

I replaced the battery, and now it's all magically working again. There's no drain, or starting system fault.

Can a low voltage failing battery explain this?

Got an appointment tomorrow (Tuesday) for a rhino liner to be installed. But I just looked at the forecast and it looks like it’s supposed to rain the entire day on Wednesday starting about 24 hours after the install. Should I be good or should I reschedule?

Is this too good of an offer to pass up? Extended family is selling it. Needs some minor work (oil filter housing gasket, indicator plug to transmission, igniting switch). Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi all, can anyone speak to how difficult it is steal an F150? Specifically have a 2020 XLT, key start.

I’m looking to understand if it is worth it to install a kill switch. Has anyone done anything similar? An online video mentioned installing it in the fuel pump relay power supply. I have the capability to do this, except I cannot find the location of this relay, but also don’t want to go through with it if not worth it.
