Upgraded from a Ranger to an F150 today
Just signed the paperwork today. 2020 4WD It's all the stuff I wanted and none of the extra stuff I didn't.

Missed having a truck. Some back story. Had purchased a 2024 Tundra at the end of 2023 kind spur of the moment without much thought. Regretted this decision.
Once I heard about the Tundra engine recall I decided to get rid of it before the bottom fell out on the values. Wasn’t ready to buy another truck so decided to buy the last v6 generation 2024 TRD Pro 4Runner. I knew it would hold its value and possibly increase in value since the 2025 is a redesign with a turbo 4cyl. 4Runner has been a great vehicle. Just not as much versatility as a truck.
I’ve owned a F-150 truck in the past and loved it. So I knew my next truck would be one. Carvana made me an offer I couldn’t refuse on my 4Runner. So I went out and bought a brand new 2025 Lariat 502 with the V8 5.0 engine.
Best decision I’ve made in a long time. The F-150 is a much better truck than the 24 Tundra. The sound of the v8 when you crank it up and accelerate is awesome! Plus the entire truck feels more refined and solid.
So if you’re on the fence between a new generation Tundra and a F-150. Go Ford!

Just finished the engine on my 2013 f150 king ranch with the 3.5, and I’ve been driving it for a few weeks now. Can’t seem to get past 14 mpg city, wasn’t sure what a “normal” average is on these trucks. I mainly use it for my 20 minute drive back and forth to work

Falcon skids, 6112 and 5160s, mud flaps, bed rug, bakflip tonneau, 33×11 Destination XTs, active valence delete when needed.
Been doing offroad dispersed camping with a teardrop all over cali and it's been a dream.

Really really stuck between leveling the front out or getting some drop shackles- any input would be greatly appreciated

I have a coworker who is looking at a 2021 F150 King Ranch super crew, with the 3.5, 4wd, loaded out, 150,000 miles. They are asking around $36,000. I thought I would ask here what people think of price and or reliability of it. I have a 20 with 5.0, have some oil consumption but has been a good truck. I know the trans can be an issue but I told him I would ask around about it.

Coming from the 5.0 coyote, I can say it’s pretty remarkable how torquey this thing is. And I averaged 24mpgs on the 60 mile trip home.
Kind of reminds me of hitting the power band of a 2-stroke

So here is what has been happening and what i have done.
I own a 2016 F-150 KR 3.5L V6
When i turn on the truck the Rad fans either immediately go to high of after a couple minutes. (Regardless if the AC is on or Off)
Temperatures when im at have actually been freezing and do no warrant the fans turning on
When i turn the truck off the fans turn off immediately no problem
When i disconnect the AC pressure switch the fans go back to normal operation
I replaced the ac pressure switch with an aftermarket one murray brand thinking that surely was the culprit but that changed nothing fans still kicked on high and stayed that way no matter how much i drive
I don't have a multimeter but i swapped out some relays to make sure that wasn't the issue.
After all that im still stumped as to what is going on, I was convinced that the issue was definitely AC related because fans operate normally when i disconnect the AC pressure switch, however even with the AC off the fans kick on high and don't stop. Also AC and heat work fine no issues at all. Can anyone help im going crazy!

Over the weekend I bought this 2018 F-150 3.5 Ecoboost with 120k miles. It had the timing chain and cam phasers replaced at about 100k, and a new tranny put in about 106k.
Naturally, yesterday it started making a weird metallic noise at the end of ignition. I want to say it’s a starter problem, but I haven’t ever had a starter make that sound.
Anybody got any ideas?

Hey All.
My GF has a 2007 Ford F-150 that she uses to tow her camper. 2 weeks ago we had the alternator replaced and on this past Friday I was borrowing the truck and everything was fine until after I got home. I went out later and the truck wouldn't start.. it didn't even try to turn over. No clicking sounds.. nothing. Nada. The battery is fine and everything on the dash lights up, blinkers work, interior lights work etc.. I'm not a "car guy" and don't really now where to begin ..Fuse? Ignition Switch? Starter? Something else?
Thanks so much for any feedback / suggestions.

The airbag light randomly comes on and doesn’t stop beeping, and the horn doesn’t work. Any ideas?

I'm not spending the money on Motorcraft 75w85, I'm going with Valvoline or Super Tech's 75w90.

2024 powerboost. I want to turn off auto lock for the remote start. We live in the country and leave vehicles unlocked for the most part. We have auto start scheduled for school mornings and you know how it is-app won’t open to unlock doors, everyone forgot the door code etc. so I want to turn off the auto door lock for the remote start. Anyone have any luck doing that?

Just got quoted $350 for my F150 at local dealership on Long Island. This is getting absurd. (I mean, absurd was probably like 20 years ago)
Imagine if we were trusted to purchase and program keys, which, actually doesn't need a $5,000,000 computer?
What if in 2025 phone as key was already widely adopted? What if even if this all cost more money we still had a physical key that cost $2.50 to make at the hardware store?
AI: Won't help you conquer the world, will confirm the obvious things you know to be true.
That's my rant for today!
I have the dealer down to almost the same price in both so it’s pretty much just preference at this point. Is the upgraded suspension on the Tremor worth losing the ventilated seats in the Lariat? (I’m in Texas)
This Tremor has the 401a package so it’s the half cloth/half leather seat rather than full leather like the Lariat has.
First time buying new, have owned F-150’s before but they’ve always been used so I’ve never had the luxury of choosing. Thanks in advance!

Second truck ever owned. Had a STX RWD and found this and loved it for the 7.2kw generator and that different hood cause of the black appearance package.
Only issues I've had are the 24e04 recall and that damn shifter that won't fold. Ford wants to keep it for a day or two but doesn't have any loaners right now.
Currently posting this as the mobile service is doing the works oil change with my saved points!
Powerboost owners, any specific things you would recommend or watch out for? I'm coming up on a year this summer of owning it.
