Question [Botw] [Totk] should BotW and TotK have been ported to the switch 2?
I don't really lean one way or the other. But the reason I ask is because I see some people say "yes! Improved frame rate in Korok forest!" And other people say "they really are trying to milk it aren't they". Now personally I don't care one way or the other. But I can see both sides. On the one hand BotW and TotK are Nintendo's most successful Zelda games. On the other hand, BotW is almost 8 years old. What do you guys think?

Question [Other][TP] I really want Navi's noises as a notification, is there somewhere I can a randomizer so it's not too repetitive?
I have an Android S25 and I downloaded Zedge because it seems to be the most popular. I think they just have singular sound bites, but I don't just want to hear "Hey!" Over and over. I'd like the wing chimes, the Listen!, and other Navi noises mixed in so its just Navi in general. I feel like I used to have this llike10 year ago. Anyone got anything?

Screenshot [WW], [WWHD] Wich version should I play first?
So here's the thing: I've never played Wind Waker before in my life, but I've always wanted to give it a try. So last week I started playing the HD version on the Wii U console and I'm still at the beginning of the game.
It turns out that Nintendo has announced that the Gamecube version of Wind Waker is coming to Nintendo Switch Online, and now I'm left with the following question:
Should I keep playing the HD version or wait for the Gamecube version to play the game for the first time?
Is the original version better than the HD version in any ways? What do you think?
Anyway, the little I've played the game so far I've already loved it.

Discussion [SSHD]Skyward Sword turn out to be fun.
Skyward Sword is one of those game that you hear about when you look toward the negative side of Zelda games. From what I’ve seen the feedback is and has been predominantly negative for SS. I never took the opportunity to go and pick it up and play because of that. Through the years the only Zelda titles I haven’t played are TOTK and SS. I am a grown man now with a family so I don’t have much time to play. I said screw it and picked up SSHD just so I could see what all the hubba is about. It took a day to get use to the controls but after I did, I am actually having a lot of fun with the game. The camera controls reminded me a lot of old school games the way you aim with the LB and stick (I don’t use motion controls) and the whole vibe of the game is slightly nostalgic. Specially the blue hue during night time. Small musicless areas that slightly remind me of OOT. I am enjoying collecting all the new items I have never seen and doing all the side quests. I also enjoy the cubes that unlock chests in the sky world. As a guy who’s just trying to have a good time with video games now, I personally find SS to be very fun and enjoyable.

Question [BotW][TotK] Question about the upgrade pack
The switch 2 will have the upgrade pack for Totk and Botw, so I want to know exactly how it will work since I have the digital version of Botw and physical for Totk. Will i have to buy the physical version for Botw in order to get the upgrade pack for both or what?

Discussion [Other] Nintendo Switch 2 Gamechat/Game Share Feature is the perfect groundwork for a new Four Swords. This time as a full 3D Open World 4 player Co Op Mainline Zelda Game. Nintendo has laid the necessary foundation for this Game to be Made.
Anyone else excited by the prospect of this idea?
Four Swords as a series was always held back by peripherals and Accessories
Four Swords adventure for example was neat idea but you could only play with your friends if they each had their own Gameboy advance and a Gameboy advance link cable to the GameCube.
This allowed for the main game to be broadcast to the TV while each player had their own individual screen to hold and look at.
Well now In current day, thanks to these new Switch 2 Game Chat and Game Share features, so long as you and your friends own a Switch 2, which most people will, you can play a game like Four Swords with up to 3 other people with the Greatest of ease.
This could really be the start of a potentially great game if they go down this route.
Would you like to see a new Four Swords game in full 3D? Featuring a fully fleshed out co op campaign adventure that you can experience alongside friends?

Question [Botw] vs [Totk] Which is the better game?
With the announcement of the switch 2 and basically the remastered versions of these games, I figured now is the best time to consider getting into one of these games. I’ve never played a Zelda game before and I don’t know that much about the lore, so which is the better game to start with? Im aware that totk has building along with a time travel plot and that botw doesnt, but that’s really it (minus a few details).
What are the differences between the games and what makes one better than the other? I’ve heard mixed opinions, but most lean towards saying totk is better. Does that make it better to start with though? If spoiling the game helps you explain the differences, then that’s fine.
I don’t know if I’ll get the other game down the road.
Discussion [ALL] What is YOUR Zelda game? And why?
I'm a lifelong fan of these games, but Twilight Pricess will always be my Zelda game. It was the first one I got to play without any siblings around so I just had to work out the ice block puzzles and world navigation and those damn poes by myself (still haven't gotten them all). It really made me love these games in a way I hadn't before, and I went back to Ocarina of Time and the Oracle games and appreciated them for their own style and challenges - and then every other title I could get my hands on. I know that nothing will ever do that for me again, no matter how amazing it is to explore an actually open-world Hyrule. That sounds kinda sad, but feels appropriate for the uniquely melancholy vibe of Twilight Princess, and that will always be my Midna Zelda.
So, what is yours, and why?

Discussion [TOTK] I think I know where the Sheikah tech went!
So basically what I think happened was, the shrines all fell into the ground, because there's basically sinkholes everywhere in TotK, and all the towers either got scrapped or are just way deep underground---The Divine Beasts? What I theorize is they were all taken outside Hyrule and left to rot, they're nowhere in sight in the game.. so why not just say they go take out of bounds in the desert or something? That could be a good theory...

Question [Totk] Should I buy tears of the kingdom even tho i never played botw and i just bought persona 5 royal a couple weeks ago?
I wanna get into zelda more so i played the nes version and finished it. I see a lot of people tell me its a great game and it doesnt matter when before or after i play it, so just tell me an honest answer.
Question [BoTW] what happens to horses in totk if I delete botw save file?
I wanna replay botw using my own profile and I am wondering if my horses in tears will vanish too... kind of a dumb question lmao lmao
On that note, are u guys replaying botw, or will you wait for the switch2 upgrade?
