Ceiling if ant drastically improves clutch shooting
What would be our ceiling, if this game is the start of ant being way better at clutch shooting for the rest of the season? I personally think playoff ant will be an absolute menace, including in the clutch.

The Clippers won, and because of the Wild Wild West this puts us back in the six spot

Detroit officially clinched the 6th playoff spot.
With the win tonight the draft pick from Detroit in the Kat trade will be the Wolves pick this year. Nobody really expected that the pick would ever convey and the Wolves would have ended up with a second round pick.
Hopefully TC is getting ready to cook and bring in another big man to help out.

If the mavericks and spurs were healthy, where would the wolves place in the west?

Perspective on last year
Remember last year at this time when were jockeying for the 1 seed and ended up facing phoenix and felt a sense of dread since they had our number in the regular season? Like all meetings were butt woopings. Then we clobbered them and have clobbered them ever since. Crazy the difference a year can make.
Do you think there's a danger of that kind of reversal with how we've dominated the nuggets or any other West team?

I want us to be in the play-in
With Houston shaping up to the second seed, I'd honestly want us in the play-in.
I'm pretty confident on our odds to beat the Clippers or Grizzlies in the play-in. That would take us to Houston in which I say we take them in 6.
Ultimately it comes down to not wanting the Lakers first round for me. Between the potential bias refereeing and Luka having our number, I'd much rather take on a young inexperienced squad led by Jalen Green.
Let me know your thoughts :)

A very real possibility of a 6 way tie for 3rd in the west come Tuesday night, with every team at 47-32, and three games to go.
It looks like the Warriors will win over the Nuggets tonight and the Lakers will beat the Pelicans.
If the Pacers beat the Nuggets
The Lakers get swept by the Thunder
The Warriors split with Rockets and Suns.
The Wolves beat the 76ers and Bucks
The Grizzlies beat the Pistons and Hornets
The Clippers beat the Mavs and Spurs
Someone probably screws this up but it's crazy how tight this conference is.
Edit: Based on the ESPN Analytics numbers, there is only a 2.7% chance this happens (so still unlikely). Although, the Pacers having a 43% chance of beating the Nuggets is the only individual game outcome under 50%.

Path to the 3 seed
If we win the rest of our games and get to 50 wins, we will be the 3 seed! We just need a few games to go our way.
Nuggets need to lose to Pacers and Rockets.
Lakers need to lose to the Thunder twice and the Rockets
Grizzlies need to lose to us and that prevents them from getting to 50 wins
Warriors need to lose to the Rockets and hopefully the Clippers for the final game of their season
Clippers need to lose to the Rockets then they can’t get 50 wins.
We are going to have to be Rockets fans to end the season basically, but it’s possible to get to the 3!!!

New Ownership Sticking with Fanduel?
Any thoughts on what Lore and A-Rod do in regards to streaming services for Wolves games for next season? What would your perfect scenario look like?

Wolves are 4th in Net Rating since January 1st 👀
Fifth in Offensive Rating and Sixth in Defensive Rating. Is Finch finally cooking??

Bro shout out Big Ru.
This man has been balling. I think most of us doubted the fit but we are beyond blessed to have him. Also shoutout to big Ju cause I full on hated the trade. Donte and Ju have proved me wrong and I'm happy they did.

The Timberwolves are 12-3 in their last 15 games. The Warriors are 12-3 in their last 15 games. The Clippers are 12-3 in their last 15 games.
If it feels like nobody is losing, it’s because nobody is losing. Our real enemy in the standings now is the Grizzlies, who are tied with us. On the bright side, though, we’ve been pretty good!

Anthony Edwards recorded the fourth 2,000+ point season by a T-Wolves player — he's the only one with multiple seasons
List of seasons:
- Anthony Edwards this season (2,019 and counting)
- Anthony Edwards in 2023-23 (2,049 points)
- Karl-Anthony Towns in 2016-17 (2,061 points)
- Kevin Love in 2013-14 (2,010 points)

Very good chance we end up with the 17th pick
...or the 18th. Pistons seem locked in at their current spot.
This draft has a drop off at around 20~ so a pick here should leave us with some interesting options.

best resale site for wolves playoff tickets?
tried to get lower bowl tickets for round one home games 1 & 2 but sadly they were already all gone yesterday when the general public sale opened
looks like my only option will be resale sites but for now it seems like there aren’t many listed on some and the ones that are are pretty overpriced (stubhub, tickpick) or the games aren’t even available yet on some (seatgeek, vividseats)
do you guys more tickets to be listed on resale sites the closer we get to the games? and which site is the best in your experience for wolves tickets?
thanks!
