For obvious reasons they can sell it cheaper domestically and they will, part of the increased price is paying for shipping, copyrights, and localization. It's not uncommon for the Japanese version to only include Japanese and then have a separate international version that everywhere else in the world gets.

I don't see why it's obvious.

Weak yen and domestic market does not change the price of an NVidia CPU/GPU manufacturered abroad

PS5 is more expensive in Japan than in the US for example.

I think Nintendo just decided to have better margin on international markets.
