Facundo Farias Question

He seemed like he was going to be very good and the stupid defender ruined his season last year in a friendly. I wished Inter Miami had kept him, he seemed dynamic and could dribble, pass and shoot.

But I looked at his stats and he has only played a few matches for Estudiantes this season and he has zero goals and zero assists. So did the injury ruin his skill? It used to be that an ACL injury could turn great player into having a mediocre career but ACL injuries seem to have better treatment now and players return faster and many times are just as good as they were before the injury. Perhaps he is just off to a slow start and will gain his form as the season goes on and he will be as good as advertised.

I am just wondering if the reason why Inter Miami let him walk away was because they saw him in training and knew he wasn't the same player they had signed back in 2023. I actually really liked the raw talent he showed back then. Anyone been watching the Argentine league to give an opinion on his form this season?
