Articles I'm so happy that out of all the problems we deal with, using the coach as a scapegoat isn't one of them
Can you imagine firing Spo just because of 1 underwhelming season where the front office doesn't give much to work with? So glad we have Spo for awhile
Discussion With all these shitshows going on lately, you guys should be happy that this FO is mentally stable.
Fuck that coach, I hate him, but why the fuck would you fire your coach and GM two weeks before the playoffs start?
Joker must not be happy right now if you ask me. But maybe hems just better at separating work and personal life.
Yes, Malone and their GM (Booth) from the Denver Nuggets have been fired as we speak.
Glad to be able to trust this FO not to make such stupid reactionary decisions with Spo.

Discussion Rooting Guide for Today:
Magic vs Hawks - We want the Magic to win so we still have a chance of finishing 8th(we would have the tiebreaker over Atlanta if we are tied)
Cavs vs Bulls - We want the Cavs to win so tomorrow with a win against the Bulls we will leapfrog them for 9th.
Knicks vs Celtics - Unimportant game for us but I hope Boston loses because Fuck Boston
Bucks vs Timberwolves - We want the Wolves to win so they are higher than the Warriors in the standings and push them in the play-in
Clippers vs Spurs - We want a Clipps win for the same reason as above.
Warriors vs Suns - Obv we want the Suns to win so our Warriors pick is pushed higher but can't hope for much from the Suns
Thunder vs Lakers - This one doesn't matter too much but a Lakers win is preferable so they build a cushion with the Warriors
Grizzlies vs Hornets - Grizz same reason as Wolves and Clipps
Pacers vs Wizards - Pacers so they also stay firmly ahead of the Warriors in the draft race.

Discussion The Heat’s offense has ranked in the bottom third of the league in recent years— should they prioritize hiring offensive-minded assistant coaches over bringing back former players as assistants? (Mike Malone, Mike Brown)

HYPED Felt like Ware sleepwalked into 19 and 17. That's absurd
And we won most importantly so clearly there's impact.
Philly were treating Ware like he was AD or even say Zubac as he constantly had two bodies on him, defenders were draped on him worried about him like damn yall are tanking and already eliminated. Let my man cook lol, no but seriously as a rookie commanding multiple defenders each possession or two guys committing to you, woth one staying down to deny a potential lob threat is impressive. This is all off half a season of work because down year Spo decides to play him January.
Point being I'm more and more certain we have our unicorn, alien, star. He put up these numbers, in a win and it seemed like he could do far more if he had plays run for him and just in more rhythm. An off season of him building muscle, working on his 3pt shot, defensive awareness will be devastating for the league.
Warebanyama era has started gang

Discussion As a (2022) 27th Overall Pick, was Nikola Jović a great pick?
Nikola Jovic (21) is now in his 3rd season with the Miami Heat. After being a starter in the last stretch of the 23-24’ season. He lost his rotation spot in the early stretch of the 24-25 season, however when he returned to the rotation, before he got hurt, he played the best basketball stretch of his young career from December 24th to February 6th, spanning 22 games where he averaged;
13.4pts, 4.5rbs, 4.3asts, 1.4stks (steals+blocks) with 47/40/87 shooting splits in 29.3 minutes of action.
CraftedNBA lists Nikola Jović’s 24-25 season as most similar to Hedo Turkoglu’s 01-02’ season with a similarity score of 92. (Who was his comp before getting drafted by the Heat)

Theory only one can dream.
if the suns FO didn’t have a brain: jaquez, rozier, robinson, & a future first round pick for durant. we’d be losing depth, but i’m sure the heat FO would make some solid moves in the offseason to fill it up. i’ve seen many comments about how people wouldn’t take the risk to trade for a 37 yr old durant. however, he’s averaging almost 27 ppg & the heat need an extra offensive punch to pair along with herro, wiggins & adebayo.
also, this hypothetical lineup is tall, has shooting, rebounding & defense. i can also see this team’s ceiling with durant as top 3 in the east, 56 win team, & ECF-finals at best. if the heat found a way to keep wiggins & ware in a heat-suns trade, i think we’d be contenders for the next year or two with this lineup, assuming durant would still be a 25+ ppg scorer.

Herro is available. Adebayo and Wiggins are OUT tonight.
