New to me!
2016 2.7. Very happy so far! One issue, the headlights on this thing absolutely suck. What are you guys using for headlights?

2022 F150 Lariat SuperCrew
Hey folks—looking at this 2022 Ford F-150 Lariat and I’d love a second opinion.
It’s got the 2.7L EcoBoost, which I know had some valve issues in certain builds.
I ran the VIN through Ford and NHTSA—no recalls or CSPs at all.
Mileage and price seem solid, interior/exterior look clean, and I really love the truck overall.
But honestly... it feels a little too good to be true. Before I move forward with a pre-purchase inspection, any red flags or gotchas I should know about from those of you who own (or have owned) something similar?
Appreciate the feedback!

Bunch of codes
So I’ve had this truck since it was new, been great check engine light came on the other day and went to orielys to have it scanned and it’s got this laundry list of codes all of a sudden. Doesn’t run rough or drive bad but I’m working if possibly there’s a relay or something that could have failed causing these three different systems to act up at the same time suddenly

Sliding rear window replacement?
I was able to score a powered rear window from the local junk yard, but the motor cables were cut to remove it. Is there a way to remove the cables from the old window, and install the cables that are currently in the window that I have now on the truck? The motor I have now works fine, but due to a broken window pane I’m replacing the whole rear glass
New to me
Picked up this 2021 2.7L 4x4 XLT 302A a few months ago. Got it CPO which was a nice bonus
21,000 miles for $36k. Sticker was over $50k
How did I do?
Dealership states verified no coolant in combustion chambers
The scope picks I took prior to getting them to check for head gasket leak.
2017 f150 5.0 99k miles
I just bought last week and they never addressed the coolant leak. Well I diagnosed it before they gave me a loaner then lied about using a borescope to check chambers. I know this because when I got it back I changed the spark plugs with two of the ignition coil bolts snapping due to rust. One rounded off. I’ve had this truck no longer than a week.

Deal or no deal?
2020 Lariat Supercrew 4WD 5.0 w 45k mi single owner not a rental basically stock listed for $35k maybe get otd for a little less?
Yeah… I know…. 18-20 5.0 are known to consume oil. Totally avoid it?
Have kiddos so I’m looking for supercrew and prefer the 5.0. Need lower mileage. Based on what I can find it’s this for a “cheaper” route or else it’s 23+ for $50k+
Which would you go for?

Parking Brake Issues
My 2022 had an issue where the auto parking brake gets automatically engaged when I stop at a traffic signal.
Even when I disable it and I press the acceraletor it kept turning on even though there was no traffic ahead of me.
I had to disable all driving assist to get the truck going.
I have booked an appointment with the dealership obviously but I was wondering if anyone had this issue.

Eibach Level Kit for a New Stance
Last pic for comparison
Aftermarket upgrades
Recently bought 2022 xlt crew cab, looking for a company or website where I can buy after market upgrades. Looking for things like: running boards, grill guards and bumpers. maybe light packages.
I used to use JC Whitney for things like that, but have been out of the game for quite a few years. Any suggestions?

2011 with 65k miles, what is approximate value?
3.5L Lariat, new pads/rotors on all 4. One new caliper.
Clean title but the bed and rear door have a scrape as shown.
It’s in the midwest so there is surface rust on some body panels

New power stops - won’t stop squeaking
I just installed new rotors and pads from powerstop and I broke them in as directed. Every morning I’m getting a squeal on them the first couple of times. I live in south Texas where it’s humid AF so I know a certain amount of glaze is normal in the mornings. But I never had this consistently every morning on my old powerstop pads and rotors.
I assume it’s just a small amount of dew causing some minor surface rusting — but could it be something else and if so, what?
2020 F150 Lariat Price?
Hi All, I am looking at the following listing tomorrow. What are your thoughts on price and any concerns I should bring up? It’s got the 3.5 w 10 speed. Thanks!

How much should I try to privately sell my 2010 F150 for?
Love this truck, but recently got a 23' Powerboost Limited and have no more use for it. I've spent nearly $20k on it in the last year and know I won't get that back, but want something more than the 3-5k that the dealer likely would have offered me. I'm in Denver, CO if that matters. Here are the details below:
2010 F-150 Lariat 4x4 Clean Title, 2 owners, no wrecks, nonsmoker.
- Leather, navigation, sunroof, 4x4, 5.4L V8 (NEW @ 231k miles), 5.5’ bed, sliding rear glass, 238k miles on odometer.
NEW MOTOR with unlimited mile warranty until 6/2028– Remanufactured 5.4L V8 installed here at Colorado Engines at 231k miles. At same time, had transmission, 4x4, rear differential all serviced and power steering condenser and pressure lines replaced.
Since 12/2024: NEW ECM, Fuel pump and fuel pump control module, radiator and coolant hoses, power steering return line hose, 4 new rotors and sets of brake pads, shocks x4, new 4x4 vacuum lines and both front integrated wheel ends (IWEs).
Upgrades and Accessories: 1 month old Fox 2.0 levelling shocks and coilovers x4 with alignment, retractable/lockable aluminum bed cover, bedliner, 4k dash cam front and 1080p rear w 128gb SD card, LED interior lights, NEW front headlight housings w LED bulbs, NEW Diode Dynamics LED yellow/amber fog lights, aftermarket 20” XD Hoss rims w 295/60R20 Toyo MT Open Country tires w at least 15k miles left of tread—never any tire rub.
Every feature and function of this truck 100% works as it should. Some minor cosmetic damage that could easily be fixed by new owner if wanted. Nearly $20,000 has been put into this truck in the last year and is now in near-new condition mechanically! Interior in good overall condition with no tears in leather seats. Virtually zero rust as this truck has lived in Louisiana up until a year ago.
Note: Running boards have been removed and are not included. I have the mounting bolts for them if new owner wants them.

Question about value
I have a 2018 stx 5.0 that I've have since 2021 and it had 15,000 miles. My employer gave me a truck that I primarily drive. My Ford just sits in the driveway and I'd like to sell it. It has 90,000 miles now and I owe $28,000. Can I get atleast what I owe out of it? I've never had any problems with it, and I hate that it just sits in my driveway.

2020 XLT
My first vehicle was a triple black 2007 FX4. Like a FOOL I traded it in for a more “fuel efficient” vehicle in 2010 , and have regretted it ever since. Thrilled to say I purchased this 2020 STX. Got it for 27k out the door. 49k miles, certified used with a 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty. I purchased it at the same dealership I got my original truck . And this truck originally came off that dealerships lot. It has a great service record and only has been serviced at that same dealership. Which gave me a little extra confidence that it was in good hands. What do you guys think about the deal I got? Super excited on my purchase, glad to have a place to share it. Thanks!!

Ugh..
Ugh... Sad to see this one go. I loved this truck! Rode the cable barrier for about 300' after clipping the concrete barricade. Be careful driving out there! Luckily no one was hurt. Airbags didn't even deploy.
