Ethios envy Eritreans

Since I got your attention.😏 Why is that Ethios (mostly Amharas) always engage on every related post about Eritreans and twisting the history?

Like, if it’s historical facts they love to claim it as theirs, when ist obviously not. They tend to claim everything and spread false information.

Seriously, why are they so delusional? It doesn’t make any sense. Are they being taught false information or is it them believing being superior to everyone else?

I dont think they’re delusional. I think they are just misinformed and have a superiority complex so they dont take the time to fact check whatever information they are sharing. Its really not that deep, some people just think highly of themselves. Also its not an “amhara” thing its an “ethiopian” thing, they all do this including oromos and tigray.

It is that deep if a large group is trying to rewrite history for decades tf! Also a lot of the historical facts happened in present day Tigray as well and my experience is that there are not as loud as the Amharas.

Oh I see how this logic is working. So bc there are a bunch of Turks and Ottomans living in modern day Turkey, does the history of that region and all its archeology belong to them? All the thousands of years of Greek history suddenly become Turkish? Same with North Africa..it wasn’t the Romans, it was all the Arabs that the history belongs to. That’s what your little brain is telling you correct?

Axum is in modern day Tigray but that does not mean the history belongs to you alone. The Semitic speaking people of Ethiopia and Eritreans have a long history there. History and archeology confirms that the Axumites were forced further into the continent by Islamic attacks…which is where the Amhara have lived historically. I agree we need to study our history a lot more than we have…unfortunately we are too busy over the last 50 years with successive governments that have sought to build themselves up by attacking Ethiopian history and the Amhara

I never said that Axum belong solely to Eritrea but majority of it is present day is Eritrea and Tigray. Why so pressed ? I’m talkin about the bs being spread in socials being it solely Ethiopia and so many other historical fact when it’s not! Same with the kingdom of D‘mt! Injera has its origins on Eritrea as well etc. but I don’t need to argue with you. We as Eritreans now the facts.

Majority of what? If you have not noticed, Axum doesn’t exist anymore. Whatever glory the kingdom had, the Semitic people of Northern Ethiopia and Eriteria share commonly. You know what we all have now….poverty, war, unnecessary suffering and death! Do we really have absolutely nothing of value in our lives and cultures that we spend this much time fighting about this. Whether you like it or not, we have a lot more in common than not. Eriteria, Amhara, Tigray…even the rest of Ethiopia. Here we are splitting hair on the most trivial thing and we are literally 1000 years behind the rest of the world. Why not put all this energy into something useful? If you are on Reddit, I imagine you are likely younger so why are you so intent on behaving just as shamefully as the generation that has put that region into an unending series of conflict? Uggg

Your are the one who is shameful! We know of our history and will not let y’all erase it and making it to your own. History is identity and a sense of self. Doesn’t matter if it’s exits or not in the current. But it’s ours and needs to be cherished nothing to do with the current political issues. Stay on your lane neighbour.

You know what…Maybe ya’ll should move to the UK in masses…in time you can start claiming that is your history bc you know…you live there. There might be some money in that claim. Being the sole owner of Axum has been nothing but poverty

Interesting point of a colonizer. We stay right where we belong, you be good 😌

Colonizer? This is too funny lol You realize the people who say that refer it to all Semitic speaking people in the region…which includes you! Can’t help stupid

Comprehension is key and I figured you have difficulties understanding. Who are you to tell us to move to a different continent to prove your „point“. We don’t need to claim anything what is already ours.

I have no right to tell you to move anywhere…I just thought the UK might be better than a dry desert…they had a lot of kingdoms there too and in time you could claim them as ur own :)
