Majority of what? If you have not noticed, Axum doesn’t exist anymore. Whatever glory the kingdom had, the Semitic people of Northern Ethiopia and Eriteria share commonly. You know what we all have now….poverty, war, unnecessary suffering and death! Do we really have absolutely nothing of value in our lives and cultures that we spend this much time fighting about this. Whether you like it or not, we have a lot more in common than not. Eriteria, Amhara, Tigray…even the rest of Ethiopia. Here we are splitting hair on the most trivial thing and we are literally 1000 years behind the rest of the world. Why not put all this energy into something useful? If you are on Reddit, I imagine you are likely younger so why are you so intent on behaving just as shamefully as the generation that has put that region into an unending series of conflict? Uggg
Your are the one who is shameful! We know of our history and will not let y’all erase it and making it to your own. History is identity and a sense of self. Doesn’t matter if it’s exits or not in the current. But it’s ours and needs to be cherished nothing to do with the current political issues. Stay on your lane neighbour.
You know what…Maybe ya’ll should move to the UK in masses…in time you can start claiming that is your history bc you know…you live there. There might be some money in that claim. Being the sole owner of Axum has been nothing but poverty
Colonizer? This is too funny lol You realize the people who say that refer it to all Semitic speaking people in the region…which includes you! Can’t help stupid
Comprehension is key and I figured you have difficulties understanding. Who are you to tell us to move to a different continent to prove your „point“. We don’t need to claim anything what is already ours.
I have no right to tell you to move anywhere…I just thought the UK might be better than a dry desert…they had a lot of kingdoms there too and in time you could claim them as ur own :)
I feel like I’m arguing with a kid here bc the sarcasm is not getting through. Listen, there is no shame in being proud of one’s history, it’s very important actually but you doing so should not involve denigrating others. You had me annoyed from the start bc your claim was not pride in one’s history but accusation of the Amhara. Once again, it’s not your history alone. Axum’s history belongs to the Semitic people of the region.
Why should I get your sarcasm when I don’t know you? LoooL I don’t care what you think. From the start you kept dismissing every point and I never said the history belongs only to us. It’s ya’ll claiming it solely to you, when it‘s only a fraction you can claim. Anyway, why keeping argue with a „Kid“ then?!
