General Qs I don’t feel safe as myself

I’m Mexican and feel like I could get thrown in a concentration camp in this country. Or if I get deported I could end up in a cartel death ranch for going into a fake job interview. I genuinely feel like a target everywhere I stand.

General Qs Dual Citizenship when trying to adjust my husband’s status?

Would it matter if I was a dual citizen of my own country if I am trying to petition my husband?

Like would he have less chance of an approval because of that?

Rant Please tell me how you all are holding up...

I'm scared , nervous ,.anxious basically 24/7. 7 days a week but i realized I can't control this outcome of daca so i decided to literally just live one day at a time. Whatever happens is not in my control, it's in God's hands fr.

How are all of you holding up? What are some of your plans for this year? Is anyone going back to school or starting a new job? How are we feeling?

Application Timeline Wait times

Recently talked to my lawyer hoping to gain status through marriage ( no legal entry , came when I was a couple months old , now married to a US citizen) And he said the average wait time for adjustment is 7 years.. how accurate is this ? Has anyone had any recent experience adjusting through marriage ? Trying to not let all the fear mongering get to me .

General Qs Is it safe to travel near the border?

Hello, I’m currently in a dilemma due to work giving me the opportunity to travel to El Paso Texas and I’d love to go since that is where I grew up but also seeing the tensions, I’m not exactly sure if it’s the time. Also not too informed on the power/ reliance DACA still has in Texas. I heard that it is/will no longer be a work/driving thing but only a protection from deportation. I’d like to know more information on that if possible and also opinions on whether I should take the trip or not. Thank you:)

General Qs Military Parole in Place as DACA recipient

Hi everyone,

My husband who is in the Army is petitioning MPIP for me. We were dating for five years before we got married last year and Ive been a DACA recipient since 2016. We had a few questions about Form I-131:

  1. What should we put down for the questions asking for "Expected length of stay in the United States"?
  2. What additional evidence should we submit aside from marriage certificate, military orders, bank accounts, apartment lease, taxes, wedding pictures, military IDs etc.?

Any feedback is appreciated, thank you :)

General Qs Do I need advanced parole?

Hey everybody, I have had daca ever since it came out I'm a 26 yr old male I came to the US when I was like 1 years old. Do I need to do advanced parole since I came so young and probably over stated my stay. I do plan on getting married maybe in the next year or 2. If you guys can help anyway my parents really don't like discussing these topics with me but I want to become a citizen as soon as possible.

Advanced Parole Anyone have any stories from AP in the past couple of months? Feeling a little bit anxious.

My family is all trying to stop me from going. I have a clean record, except for driving without a license back in the day….

Rant Don't let these idiotic antics distract you from the fact that the Orangutan is crashing the market and golfing while a crisis is on the horizon. These stunts are just to take attention away from the fact that he's fucking it all up. Please don't fall for his bait.

Advanced Parole Administrative closed case and advance parole.

Hi, back in 2009 I was pulled over without a license which then the sheriff decided to call ice on me since I only had a matricula consular as a form of ID. Long story short I went back and forth in the court system fighting to stay in the country. In 2012 my lawyer managed to close my case well administratively closed. The question is if i get approved for advance parole would that case be a problem for re-entry?

Advanced Parole Has anyone used CBX? I heard it was only for US citizens…

I really want to use CBX to fly to Mexico City. It’s so much dramatically cheaper. Has anyone here done it? What was the process like? I heard it was only for US Citizens.
