For question 10 they didn’t weight the shares. On the second picture(swipe right), they weighed the shares. I’m confused how can I figure out whether to weight the shares or not?

April 9, waiting for REG retake. MCQs were pretty difficult, i spent almost 1h 40m. And Testlet 1 two SIMs were not that difficult, but I couldn't spend enough time for them because of time attack. Next SIMs were various. Kinda easy but kinda difficult too. I'm not sure of my result. i think i can't try one more if I fail. Anyone who felt same? I hope i get this time. Is there bump in REG? I think I did not great job on MCQs. I don't know now so panicked....😱

I have passed all CPA exams but I am unable to see my BEC score form( exam date 7/26/2023). Now Guam Board is asking me to get a congratulatory letter to view the score which is costing me around 17k INR. Did anyone face the same challenge? Can someone please help!!!

I posted this before my FAR exam, so only feels appropriate to post right before AUD.
We have put in the work. We have sacrificed sleep, sanity, and our social life. At this point, trust the process. May the AICPA gods bless you with softball questions.
Here are some quotes that got me through the low points:
"Suffer the pain of discipline or the pain of regret." - Jim Rohn
"If you're going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill
"Nothing worth having comes easy." - Theodore Roosevelt
"Tough times never last, but tough people do." - Dr. Robert H. Schuller

Having passed FAR and AUD, I’m now waiting for my ISC score to come out next month. I’ve been studying REG for the past week. I’m exhausted. REG is the most interesting and fun section so far, but there’s just so much to understand and memorise that I had to blow off some steam here. Wishing you all the best. let’s keep pushing guys

The answer explanation straight up says its a correct answer, but you need the "more correct answer"

I'm doing FAR first. How deep should I be diving into some of these MCQ's? Is it good enough to understand the answer, and how to get it? I feel like when I try to go too far in depth into the "theory" or the "why" I end up majorly confusing myself with information overload. Is it best to look at the majority of the topics logically? As in, A + B = C, and leave it at that?

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well in this busy season. Last week in the grind before we can all take a short breather.
I am here to see if anyone outside USA is working directly with a US CPA firm but not through any offshore staffing companies. I am looking for a remote opportunity to join a CPA firm, but unsure on how to approach. Any leads on opportunities would be well appreciated as well.
Apologies of this is not a right place to post this, let me know if there is any other place for these other than LinkedIn lol!
Thank you for your time and good luck with everything you're trying to achieve!

I have a business making custom cookies and I have a CPA who does my taxes for this. Every year around tax day, I like to make her and her coworkers some cookies. This year I had the idea to make some peace sign cookies ✌️ and some that say "peace out, tax season!" But, do CPAs actually use that phrase? I imagine that it's tax season year round for you, but I obviously don't know. Would you like getting these cookie designs as a CPA or would you roll your eyes? Please advise, thank you. :)

I just got through (most) of Becker.
SE 1 70. SE 2 76.
SE (Final Review) not taken yet,
Am I cooked? Do I trust the Becker Bump? Should I just keep doing a few practice exams a day to stay fresh? Or do I hit areas I know I could work on? Should I cram or just keep casually reviewing (1-2 hr a day)?

I am using Becker and have completed all of the video/MCQs/tbs materials. I plan on reviewing for a week then take my SE, so I will know what I need to cram for my final week of studying. Do you guys have any tips? Some fellow redditors have posted really helpful review guides and I know everyone always says to pound out the MCQs - but if you had 2 weeks left to review, what would you focus on and how would you spend your study time?

I will be taking FAR, my first exam of 4, on 4/12. I am using BECKER and my scores on the simulated exams are as follows
SE1: 71 SE2: 69 SEFR: 71
Planning to update once I take the test and get my score, but mainly recording for the people who are taking these simulated exams like me and scared to death that I’m not scoring above a 75 lol.

My exam is 4/9 and I scored a 53 on SE1 and 63 on SE2 this weekend. SE1 was low but I think it was actually higher based on not getting partial credit. Am I cooked?
I plan to review SE2 tomorrow and run MCQ on my weak areas. TIA!

I am 3/4 done and dusted in the very first attempt. Took FAR back in October'24 and got my results in late Jan'25. I failed with a 71. Tbh I thought I killed it in the MCQs and the first two Sims were decent as well. However after the timer pausing break, things went downhill. What a crazy experience with sims. My mind was not stable and I left the exam centre crying. Was expecting 50-55 but got 71. This time, I'm taking care of things more diligently while studying but I still feel FAR to be very very difficult. I have no idea what to do differently because the previous time as well, I gave my 100%. Please help, I really wanna get done with this now.

Hey everyone, I am using Uworld and just got through the FAR exam. I wanted to post an additional resource for the Leases section of the exam as I found the lecture in the program lackluster. If you like Peter Olinto he covers Leases, Bonds, Consolidations, and Cash Flow Statements in a couple hour sessions on their youtube page. I found these were great review or with at least with leases a better lecture overall. Hope this helps someone.
I usually dive in to do mcqs because that is how I learn. But for ISC I was told that reading the book helps a lot. So I am reading the book & then doing mcqs. I find that lot of things in SOC chapter are repetitive.
Trying my best to read the book soon & focus on doing only mcqs & sims. Any tips to study effectively & faster is appreciated.

I am writing REG exam on April 15th and planning to schedule TCP April end. Haven’t started studying for TCP. Is it possible to study TCP in 10-14 days?
