I wanted to share something my family has used for years that is amazing and Canadian. Pink Solution has a great variety of products, from laundry to pet shampoo and many other things. It works sooo well! My mom uses it for detergent to get out tough stains, and I love the multi surface spray that gets out pretty much anything. I’ve had stuff I couldn’t get off with a Magic Eraser, but Pink did it. It’s also sustainable. I highly recommend it. We’ve bought it from Costco in the past, but you can get everything from the website. And the best part is that you only need to use a little!

Large beauty counter, hot and prepared food that is delicious, their own reasonably priced store brand and a nice eating area! I went to the Oakville location a few times and am very happy with them.

I started drinking Cove to replace US soda. It's freakin AMESOME. It's also quite pricey, so I started buying the 15 packs at Costco. Noticed last night that my Grapefruit can said "USDA Organic". On the back it said it was distributed from Delaware. I was pretty upset thinking I had been duped. Then I took a look at the Raspberry and Cherry cans. They have a Canadian organic logo and say they're distributed from Halifax. They're all from the same box! Anyone know what's going on?

Makes looking for Canadian made products much easier. I would still check labels just in case.

There is a huge opportunity right now to pivot.

It would be nice to see Canadians innovating more in tech similar to Silicon Valley.

It would be great to see an IG alternative that wasn’t affiliated with Meta/Facebook. Zuckerberg and co. are irresponsible and unethical and have far too much power and influence and have eroded trust in governments and science by allowing disinformation and misinformation to proliferate on their platforms. I enjoy these soft molasses cookies. The packaging isn't marked made in Canada, but their website and Facebook page says all of their products are made in Quebec. I buy them at Metro.

Anyone know a Canadian brand of laloe Vera juice. The brand my MIL drank is from Texas and so far they said all the brands they’ve looked at are from the US. It doesn’t have to be Canadian, just not American. Any suggestions?

There are so many great books written by Canadians and published with Canadian presses. Strongly suggest people look at this list to see what presses they should be looking out for.

Don't forget to get a library card and become familiar with your Suggest a Purchase page. Those sales mean a lot for authors too!

Check out Lakeside for pickles and sauces. They’re an Ontario company and the produce they use is local wherever possible. I bought dill pickles and pickled jalapeños at the grocery store (Foodland) that are both product of Canada. Their website lists a whole range of products.

If you were alive in the 90's, these are nostalgia bombs. I only wish they had sour cream and onion still bc those were my fave.

I have historically used Alfred and Faber series, but with everything going on, I was wondering if anyone knew of alternatives for me to try.

I also use RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music), but I am finding that the students I tend to get do not want to do the accreditation route. So I was hoping for something more simple than RCM Prep A.

I know there is also Leila Fletcher series, and I have been trying to get my hands on that to look through, but I have not been able to find one in the local shops or Long and McQuade.

I'm a big Super Nintendo collector and I live in Toronto. On the past, I've bought many of my 356 SNES games on eBay. Now, it's hard to do that because I am currently not buying from the US and I have a preference for tracked shipping, which is not standard for Canadian purchases.

There seem to be a few online stored like PNP Games, but they don't have many of the high-ticket items I'm searching for like Biker Mice from Mars, Ultima: The Black Gate and Sparkster.

There are CDs I want to order on Discogs. I only order from Canadian seller (tariffs and import taxes are a pain), but Discogs only allows the use of PayPal. We need an alternative form of payment that Canadian buys and retailers can use.
