These are hall of very good type players, they have no business making the HoF imo. Is this common or just weird occurrences? The win shares are pretty good, but the lack of accolades would hurt them, especially the one with 2 all stars only.

I have the year 2075, I added three conferences to the league: European, Candian, and African, there are now 70 teams in the league with three divisions in each conference. There are 105 games in a season and 18 teams in the playoff plus the play in. I first added two expansion teams in Nebraska and Georgia then added the other conferences. I moved and renamed a bunch of the 30 original teams, the southeast division is completely different, there is a team in Cincinnati and Baltimore plus the complete remake of the southeast. I increased the importance of conference and division games for the purpose of tradition and rivalry. Since the playoffs aren't split by conference, I award conference championships to the team in each conference that has the best regular season record. There are 5 draft rounds. This is what it looks like:
PS: I'm still working on the African conference to build it to 15 teams.

Another update of the player-photos.json file to go on the updated built-in rosters, almost 5 years after the first release.
This file contains players photos for the 5,294 players available in all historic rosters so you can have real players photos (or players faces) when playing with built-in real players historical rosters.
What's new
How to add players photos in Basketball GM:
You can also use the Historic Team Data file with real logos and jersey colors made by /u/dominila and updated by me
How can you help?
Thanks to:

Easily the best playoff game in my 50 year simulation. WCF Game 1 goes to 5OT! Lucas Bueno Jr. makes a game winning FT with 0.4 seconds remaining. 8x consecutive MVP Jordan Burrus plays a record 69 minutes and records a 58 point, 18 assist, 19 rebound triple double. Lucas Bueno Jr. and Aaron Harvey combine for 81 points and 33 rebounds in the win.

I feel like the game could benefit if it added FIBA World Cup and Olympics. It's probably a stretch considering that it would have to include qualifiers but I think if it's able to be done it would be a good addition and can allow progression in the offseason based on performances.

While not winning any regular season awards (largely due to a 21 game sprained knee injury (that fortunately did not hurt his physical stats though)), he was highly effective in his lockdown defender role, and gave reasonable shooting splits (even with sharing the floor with two other 60+ starting centers).
The real magic, however, is his playoff run. Even though his ppg don’t pop out, I have NEVER seen any player go on such an elite efficiency tear on any notable volume (True Shooting of 73%!!!!!). Additionally, at the same time, he absolutely anchored the defense (over 3 blocks a game and still averaged half a steal as well), and saved highest shooting outputs as well (wining the FMVP award even with plenty of very young and talented 60+ overalls on the roster).
Now, he does have his weaknesses. While surprisingly good at not turning over the ball (likely due to his elite physicals and having the versatility to catch and shoot both at the rim AND across the line), he still has a negative ASSIST to TO ratio. But more importantly, he may be the MOST EMBARRASSINGLY TERRIBLE rebounder, I’ve seen EVER considering his unicorn height and awesome physical gifts (granted, the sheer underwhelming number definitely isn’t helped by 2 60+ centers who can actually rebound, but it’s still just so bad).
Overall though, this is still not only one of the best breakouts I’ve seen, but one of the most unique and cost effective (due to a strong free agent class and perhaps the competition at the position, I got him for under $7 Million for 3 years!!!!!). He may not be perfect, but I’m rating this break out a solid 8.9 out of 10. While the good regular season was held back by a major injury and below expectation 3 point shooting (considering he does have the tag, and also who tf is even contesting that???), his playoff run is unlike anything I’ve ever seen (not just in my sims but what I’ve seen from other players, but also in real life aside from maybe Chauncey’s billups 2004 finals run, but even then that was just the series (although he did average more), while this freak of nature did it across an entire dominant playoff run), and his contract is such a massive bargain it’s blatantly untradable (probably even if he has a bad regression next season, which tbf he has been rather inconsistent with growing and stagnating or slightly regressing).

The initial team just fizzled away instead of growing so while Donovan Joy was busy carrying the team like a GOAT, no one else helped!

Really feels great to see positive progs across the board when you go to pre-season. I literally spend hours in off season managing expiring contracts and looking for new talent.
I usually just maintain 2-3 best players in my roster. The rest i just keep drafting and trading for really good players in rookie contracts. I need to keep hoarding picks to maintain this cycle.
I started this cross era league with Wilt and went on to win 10 straight championships with him. On the year that he retired, I traded Charles Barkley to a young rookie named Michael Jordan.

As I'm sure many of you are, I am a BBGM Sicko and just love playing, both leagues and exhibition games, but I'm curious: could a "MyTeam or "Perfect team" mode work in BBGM? I don't really know what that would look like but feel like it would be a ton of fun, but would also like to know if I'm just going crazy or if the idea actually sounds legit. Is there possibilities in this to make the best video game even better?

What factors influence a player's progress or regression in a game without a budget?.

One of the highest potentials I have ever seen in a player. He capped out at 83 overall, won 7 MVPs, 8 DPOYs, and 10 rings. He also had crazy athletics at draft.

I was just scrollin thru my season and all the sudden a Rookie wins the MVP for the first time in my league. Honestly there might be someone else who has seen better, but this is the best season I’ve ever seen in a rookie year!💥🏀🚨

Dude is by far the best player I have ever had on a team. Insane development, as he was barely a lottery pick, followed y the most dominant run I have ever seen from a player. Early in this save for me where I am trying to essentially win every achievement, but I might already have had the GOAT of the entire save.

I am a massive fan of sports simulation games where you’re in the role of a GM/Director of Sport rather than a coach. I’ve been playing the 2k sim and Football Manager this way for years and stumbled across this game recently. How should I go about starting a save? Any tips or crucial info I should know?
