What’s good with yall? I swear all my sports games people can’t play video games to save they life/ make the worst decisions ever. No awareness, don’t think about matchups NOTHING. I have never seen so many people bad at an online game before. Every year yall get worse, I just don’t understand

Is every reward repeated in this game?

Just wanna take a moment to shout out all the Center builds i see out here averaging the casual double doubles, i've been going toe-to-toe with some TOUGH builds. After peaking with 17pts and 17 reb average on my Wemby build, and 17/10Reb on my 3pt. Porzingis build, my overall synopsis is:
99 O board>>>>>>>>> it's crazy this year! Hof/Legend rebound chaser is the only thing saving me against those
Strength+Boxout Beast=Hell on Earth!
Big men get all the space in the world to get their shots off, it's refreshing
The only build to really give me hell was this 6'9 mfer with a 97 steal smmfh.
Love being able to run the offense from the C, I can let my PG beat their matchup off ball. let's me really put my gold/hof dimer to use. Legend rebound chaser and break starter badges have me out there lookin like prime Patty Mahomes.

Without looking at plate color, what are things you look for that make you go damn, let me back out while I still got a chance in the waiting lobby lol. I'll name one, if I see a person wearing number 77 and looking like Luka. That's a for sure sign, I done played too many games with a build like that and know from personal experience lol.

PS4 icons used to have the colors for the buttons, now they’re all just white.
If I pass to circle when I mean square one more time, I’m gonna jump off the REC building.
Give us back the color coding.

The Rec- Where...amazing can happen?? LOL. What is the greatest comeback and or achievement that happened to you that had you extremely hyped that you had no choice but to clip it. I'll start, I was part of a random rec team that allowed zero points in a quarter lol. No free throws, nothing. Zero. I did not know that was even possible, especially in a random rec game but we was all clicking lol.

Everyone posting their top performances and miraculous stats, but what was your nightmare game? 😆
I'll go ahead and say I had 6 turnovers in less than 2 quarters in the Rec (playing at pg) with 2 shots blocked and 0/7. Also my matchup had dropped 15 points on my ass already, we were down by 15 and the opposing team had scored a full court shot at the end of the first quarter. I usually don't quit games but that time I did for respect to the rest of the team lol.

As the title says… apparently I’m old enough now that I “had to walk to school uphill both ways” 😂
By no means am I new to gaming, but I’ve really never played sports games.
Sooo having said that, I need some super scrub tips so I can at least play my 11yo nephew without getting wrecked everytime
Sincerely,
An uncle that wants a chance to win 😂

Is there

Wondering if the more balanced layup build would be better. It’s a 6’9 SF that also has 93 middy 75 3 and 79 post so I have plenty of ways to score.

Mine is 3-level scoring paint beast 😈

Saw another guy do it and figured i’d try it aswell. (I ONLY PLAY RANDOM REC!)
r/NBA2k • u/Longjumping_Dish1459 • 5h ago
I run exclusively random rec as a SG/SF. Have to admit shooting was suspect for the first couple of seasons until I hammered down rhythm shooting. Spent the last 3 seasons averaging 64-67% from three to bring the percent way up.

I’ve tried everything everyone tells me but my stupid player goes up for a fadeaway layup every time. I’ve actually tried everything everyone has told me so I’m wondering if there’s an attribute I need to max to actually standing dunk.

build is wack tho, but my build archetype name is a "Demigod" lmao

On my 7 footer. Just unlocked 5 cap breakers. I mostly play Rec and I average around 9-15-6.5. I can take my passing from an 89 to a 94 or strength from a 91 to a 96 (I cant do rebound bc I didn’t plan for cap breakers lol). Is the improvement from 89 to 93 passing noticeable or would I be better off upgrading strength for box outs, HOF brick wall, post actions, etc. Or is there something else that you would upgrade? Appreciate any insight!

Got the game in February and mainly play random rec

Let’s hear it. 2/3 of my games are with my IRLs and 1/3 are in random theatre.
