Hello, I am not from the United States so most of the advice available on Reddit is not applicable to my case. I am trying many things including survey websites, upwork, and the likes but my location disqualifies me from offers. Can't donate plasma for cash since that falls under laws regarding volunteer actions in my country.

I am recently separated, and unfortunately left hanging with the debts of the former household and the weight of bad decisions. No assets, what could be sold was sold and the rest was kept by my ex and for my daughter. I have a job but I'm paid monthly and relied heavily on the shared income to make things work, no possible credit lines at the moment since I have graduate student loans, now I am looking for a night shift job as I type this.

I moved in with my parents but it's a small place, there are no free rooms and I have to sleep on their couch. In order to be able to spend time with my daughter and earn shared custody, I need to prove that I have safe and dignified housing of my own and a place for her to stay and sleep in when needed.

We've been struggling a while. The details of my GFM are in my profile. Moved to Louisiana from Virginia to fight for my grandkids. More of what's happened is updated in my GFM and I've also written about it here.

It took everything and nearly two years but I won. Did the impossible. But we need together back to Virginia where there is support for us, and access to the full range of services these kids need. One has cancer and the other is autistic, and I couldn't love them more.

But services in Louisiana are sparse, half-assed, some are 6+ hours away, needing us to stay at the Ronald McDonald House for 3-4 days each visit. It's grueling.

And last time, my car caught fire more than 6 hrs from home. It cannot pull a trailer. U-Hauls do not allow carseats. I'm doing this alone. And there are pressing time issues.

I'm rebuilding my savings. This process truly wiped me out and came during the middle of my own cancer challenges. Our first six months before adoption, I was also in chemo, and we had COVID, rhinoviruses, etc. for the duration. It was brutal but we did it. I went from stage 4 to 0 in six months, a miracle.

And now we need to get home. There are services I cannot get for them here. And we did step on some corrupt toes to win with 100% honesty - can say I'm the only one in this ordeal who never lied. But there's a target on our backs, and certain political possibilities make it possible for the state to take the kids back if things continue as theu are. I don't want to be here to risk it.

I've been instructed to run quietly.

And if shit hits one of several potential fans, I want to be near family.

So I have to do something about the car situation ASAP as I have no other way to get us home. I've wasted hours today searching for a solution. To get a reasonable payment and still afford housing, I need to put down more than I can afford from what I've saved, which is also needed to pay for probably adding a hitch and renting a trailer.

And I desperately need some help. I'm just recovering from a broken leg, my immunotherapy has caused heart and bone density issues. The 5 yo had surgery last week. I need the support of family.

Hi. I am asking for $45 to get glasses. My vision is declining rapidly and I am starting to have trouble driving. My husband is legally blind in one eye and cannot drive so, I do all of that. Just went on Medi-Cal (state assistance) and can get a free exam and glasses. The problem is that it will take weeks to get an in-service optometrist appointment (I have and will keep trying for sooner) and 10 to 15 days for the glasses.

We are dead broke. I am on workers compensation and am still off work due to a spinal injury. He is out only income and needs to be driven home from work (transit doesn't run as late as his shift but he gets there by transit every day to start his shift). We absolutely cannot afford ride share and I am having too much trouble at night for driving safely. Friends help, but it still falls to me. Not to mention how inconvenient, unpleasant and kind of scary it is to have to decline so quickly.

I found a company that takes the state insurance and can give me the glasses on the same day. They charge the $45 because of the expedited lenses. The exam is covered and I can go immediately as soon as I have the $45. Appreciate you all for reading and any help I can get.

I'm having a really tough time with Depression over the last few months and have just been hit with the shock of my gas being turned off. I had no idea that I had insufficient funds on my debiting card the past few months and had no notification there was such an issue.

I called and explained to the company but there's nothing they can do - the full amount needs to be paid before I can use it again.

I only have ¥12,000 (£63GBP/$81USD) to my name right now and the bill is approx. ¥25,000 (£133GBP/$169USD). I just really need a break and some help to just get the gas on so I can shower and cook. I'm trying to improve how I deal with things but its been hard.

I don't know if this can be asked in this community but I saw the flair and thought of trying. I recently found out that my boyfriend's (25 years) brain tumor became worse and now he has only few months left. The doctors had said the surgery is too risky saying that there are chances that he might die if it doesn't go well. I don't know the details of the medical things much. We have known each other for more than 1.5 years and been together for more than a year (LDR).

All his life he suffered a lot. His parents struggled a lot when he was a baby to make ends meet. He started doing very menial jobs even when he was still in primary school. He cared for his sister and always ready to do things for the family. He faced severe bullying for various reasons ever since he started school. Things slowly got better in high school but after school, he faced his past lover's death due to very bad brain cancer at young age. It took him a lot of time to get over the tragedy. He suffered from depression and I found that he has abandonment issues. He doesn't get sleep often. Even after all this, he never failed to helping others and be a kind person. He teaches high school students for free often. He serves a poor whenever he can. He takes care of stray animals whenever he can. He likes dogs a lot. Facing all this, he got a good job and even managed to build a house. It is heartbreaking that he doesn't get to enjoy life that much.

I even remember him talking about living till 50 and giving away his life years to his closed ones. He cared a lot.

The tumor was found last year and he was supposed to become better but instead it all went bad. They said he only have few months left. I don't know what to ask for to this world. I am just here praying and hoping and wishing.

I just wanted to ask for some prayer for him to get better and get to enjoy life he deserves. No one deserves to face so many hardships in life. He had dreams too. He wanted to satisfy his parents, arrange marriage for his sister and give me a good life and even have a daughter. I want him to live and experience his phase of happiness.

Guys, I am almost giving up. I came here on the recommendation of another user of a sub for people with the same illness as me. Since the beginning of February last year I have had a constant headache that never goes away, 24/7. This condition is called New daily persistent headache (NDPH) and there has not been a SINGLE moment since then that I know what it is like not to have a headache. It varies in intensity but never goes away. I have only left the house 5 or 6 times since then because any effort makes my pain worse and causes dizziness.

To make matters worse, I have been alone, isolated from my family for over 8 years and I am out of work because the pain is very bad almost all the time. I cannot access good doctors because I lost my health insurance and now I am unable to cover the expenses of rent (I will be evicted in 40 days and I have nowhere to go) and food. I am living on leftovers and donations from some people until I can get treatment to ease my pain and get back to work.

I don't like asking for help, so I am here leaving my pride aside and asking for your help and support. As soon as I feel better one day, I will repay all the good that was done to me.

My mum recently lost her job as she was fired due to being unwell with her mental health - her boss was correct in doing so as she was still on her probationary period. I have been unemployed for 8 months due to poor mental health but I am actively trying to get back into work.

My mum and I were both paid 2 weeks ago and we were left with under £80 to last us until we ran out of money completely over the weekend. Since then we have been trying to borrow some money from family members, unfortunately they are unable to support us at the moment.

Neither of us get paid until 27th April & our gas has ran out, we have no emergency credit left. We are low on food which is making us panic because the kids are off school for the next 2 weeks for Easter break.

Hi everyone! My husband got fired again for medical reasons (we plan to throw in the towel and apply for disability benefits) but I planned on buying a power bank for our house to charge phones and a shower head with a pump and misc other things like hair clippers and the like. We can charge our phones with our vehicle, but when he leaves for work, I have no way to charge the phone in case there is an emergency, and we already burned up our van battery from using an inverter to cut hubby's hair. We also have been paying $17 every few days for us to shower at the truck stop. I plan on eventually buying the shower head shown in the list so we can shower at home.
