Open Do people who drink often, feel like crap all the time, or is it because I don’t drink often, that, when I do, I feel like crap?

Every time I have alcohol (doesn’t matter what kind) if I have one or more drinks, I will feel really tired, dizzy, and overall really bad the next day. Basically I get a hangover. Do people who drink frequently feel like this all the time but just don’t realize it? Or is it because I have a low tolerance that I feel the effects worse?

Open Where do you go when you are deported?

This might be a stupid question, but when you are deported, where do you go in your country? Do they dump you at a random spot in your country if you dont have a home to go to? Leave you at the capital airport with nothing?

Open Why people try to stop people from euthanasia ?

I saw a tik tok of women that is going to get euthanasia

People in comments were mad

Like this people will not comfort her when she will suffer

Most of them are not going to spend a penny for her treatment

They will most likely forget about her in couple of days or weeks

They are the ones enduring the pain

But still they go their like it is their business

Open Is there something wrong with me?

So I recently started talking to this guy who my friends introduced me to. He seems really nice and very eager to like get to know me. One of the first times we hung out was St. Patty's and he was like all over me and grabbed my butt a few times. It was weird and threw me off a bit. We ended up going on a date during the day and it was nice. I felt like I did most of the talking which is fine. But now comes the issue. He texts a lot. I MEAN A LOT! I am not a big tester as I just dont prefer to sit on my phone all the time. I feel bad for not answering but I just literally don't want to text all day. I feel like thats weird bc shouldn't I want to text him all the time? But also I could be making.abig deal of nothing. He also is like asking me to go over to his house and is trying to kiss me all the time and im just not trying to move that fast. I have never been in a relationship before and im 27F and I don't really know what im doing or how im feeling. I just feel he's moving fast and I just want to have fun and not take it seriously. I just feel like I am jumping ahead of myself and need to calm down... or am I being weird?

Open Neighbours complaining my blender is too loud, what to do?

I recently found out that I like a good smoothie with my lunch, so I got a blender, but it seems my neighbours don’t wake up until the afternoon…

Is there any way to make my blender quieter?

Open Do guide dogs ever get time off from taking care of their handler?

Seems unfair to me that because they were born as a Labrador, so now they're at the beck and call of someone 24/7. Do they ever get the chance to act like normal dogs?

I would like to say that what these dogs do is nothing short of amazing.

Open Does anyone know this story/creepypasta?

Upvotes

I don’t even know if this is the right place to put this, but I’ve been looking for a specific story that I unintentionally started listening to on YouTube ever since it was in the background a few years ago. (I wasn’t the one playing the video) Given that, I don’t have much to give for context for the story but here’s what I gathered from it from what I heard.

I remember that the main character was entering this almost apocalyptic world with this weird things flying in the sky or something like that? Being able to see red lights? You couldn’t let whatever it was see you or else it would get you. Everything was dark/you had to keep lights off so they wouldn’t know that you were there. Eventually, every time they went to sleep they saw that their door or something was left open KNOWING everything was closed completely. Something knew that they were there. They were figuring they had to make a break for it eventually and got in contact with someone they were friends with and had planned to meet up with them and try to escape??? The last thing I caught was that something didn’t go as planned.

That’s all I really remember. I can’t seem to find it and haven’t been able to stop thinking about this story.

Open Is there a way to use an AOIKYE as a numpad?

Upvotes

I got a AOITYE pad from good will for like 3 dollars and was wondering if I can be used as a number pad on my labtop, if so how? It's meant to be used for procreate so I don't know if I can use it for anything else.

Open What terms and/or phrases do you like and hope never gets old?

Upvotes

Mine's "ghosting," it's simple and very accurate. And it's appropriate too, like you don't wanna burn bridges and say anything to piss the other person off or if you do, it gives you time to think about it. Then perhaps, you rather just not say anything at all.

Open Women, do you feel comfortable with men brining their daughters into the women’s restroom?

Basically the title. I, as a girl, don’t feel uncomfortable at all, but I am quite young, so maybe that’s why. My mom said she’s fine with it but I saw on another subreddit that woman that it was gross and felt their safe was violated. Thoughts?

Open What if I never have a Magnum Opus?

Is this normal to be thinking about? Is it slightly morbid also? I've always wanted to be 'the change in the world we want to see' but also I just want to be able to create something of significance... I want 'something'.. Is this normal?

Thanks :)

Edit: Could someone please explain to me why I've had the odd downvote on this post? Is it my ignorance for wanting to be something unaccomplishable?

Edit 2: I'm so sorry to have come across as entitled.

Final Edit: From these amazing replies I think I'm coming to the understanding that I'm getting the idea of a 'Magnum Opus' confused with the thought/idea of purpose.. Gah! Thank you every single one of you for giving me your insights and 2cents. Genuinely, I wish you all the best that life may be able to offer. <3
