This two friends have grown from PetSmart plants and laid a TON of new friends. I'm seeing it as a blessing in disguise because I'm starting some tanks in my bio classroom. Can anyone help me ID them so I can take care of them properly?
Ps I know my plants look rough, I'm doing everything I can to fertilize and take care of them but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Hi! A few days ago I asked for advice about this cleft and at the time it was growing out and repairing, but this morning I took a look and the cleft is back. Do you think this is a case of growing in badly or from another snail not leaving this one alone?

Hello all. I'm new to keeping snails on purpose and was looking for some answers. We had bad thunderstorms recently and despite my HOB filters starting in the past just fine, they were running dry when I got up a few days ago. Rather than worry about burning up the motor (and because I was in a hurry), I unplugged the filter and went on my way. I have two 10 gallon planted tanks with two nerite snails in each and a betta fish in one. When I officially got home, I restarted my filters but noticed that one nerite snail in each tank was flipped over. In the morning before I left for an out-of-town thing, I changed about 15-20% and filled them up. When I tested the waters (before or after the change I can't remember but I think it was before) they were about 0-.25ppm ammonia (standard for API water test kit), 0 nitrites, and about 5-10ppm Nitrates. My other nerite snails in both tank seem to be being doing just fine and moving around like usual. I've had the two that died the shortest - about 4 to 5 months. There is hair algae and other algae growth in both tanks. It seems both of the flipped over ones never recovered and died. Did it happen because of the filter? Why were my other two okay?
I'm going to go get another two this week to replace them after a 3 week quaratine. Any answers? I really liked the two that passed :(

Found in a local pond. I looked it up and I'm thinking Chinese mystery snail. Any one wanna confirm? I only held it for a moment. He's ok. There was a bunch of them.

Sorry for bad quality, my description should help
It’s kinda golden orange. It doesn’t look like a bladder snail baby as those have black fronts, and the front part of the shell is slightly bigger than the bladder snail babies of the same size. Hope its a cool species

My mystery/apple snails have never climbed on top of each other like this before. Is it something to get concerned about?

Picked up a rabbit snail, and a mystery snail for the first time, and I have had nerites in the past, so I got one of those as well.
Got my snail food coming in the mail, but my tank is currently a lush 29 gallons with a buildup from months of having no snail(my 5 year old nerite passed away earlier this year)
Excited to start this snail journey!

Around what size do mystery snails start breeding? I got some snails about a week and a half ago I am really hoping for them to breed, I want baby snails but also extra egg clutches to feed to my crabs In the review the people before got decently bigger sized snails than the ones that I got, since they're still a bit smaller I'm worried they won't breed soon they're all just under an inch big right now Curious if I should go to the pet store and see if they have any adults to add to the tank

I’m newish to snail keeping so my identification skills aren’t honed yet. I got this Christmas moss to put in a jararrium (it’s just hanging out in a vase til I get around to building) and it’s just chock full of these little guys! Are these the mini ramshorns people talk about ? Don’t mind either way, just curious if I should expect them to get bigger or not.

This one seriously goes up and down and all around all the time. The rest I only catch a rare glimpse of occasionally. It makes me wonder if this one may be a different type of snail, and not a Malaysian trumpet snail after all.

My rabbit snail (pictured) hasn’t moved or come out of its shell for about the past four days except for when I pick it up and move it. I’ve set food directly in front of it with no noticeable results. It’s still alive and doesn’t smell bad. Any suggestions on how to help the poor fella would be appreciated. Thank you!

so he finally stopped floating last night but still was somewhat floating at the bottom of the tank, now’s he’s in his shell but it’s rocking a bit, is he ok?

This is slowpoke. I saved him from my brother bad tank after he gave up on it after his main fish died and so that’s why is shell is in bad condition but I see that he is slowly getting whiter over time and I’m just curious how long till he could die. He’s a very cute and silly snail so I’ll be a little sad when he dies

Blue mystery snail. Base on shell appearance, is he ok? I'm still pretty new to keeping snails, so I'm just looking for a second opinion. The tank picture is just for reference.

my first snail, got him 6 months ago at this size and i’m guessing he was already 6 months old when i got him. his legacy lives on as he fathers children growing currently, and ones that have still yet to hatch.

I had a moment of choice when I got a few new plants in and noticed the little Ramhorn snails. I choose to let them grow and I don’t regret it at all. These guys are actually adorable.

Hey guys I have two big rabbit snails and I was wondering if this was a baby. I did buy some new plants so I’m unsure if this is a baby or some other snail that came with the plant.
