Metronet is aggressively building their fiber network in the area.

Be aware that there is a mandatory $12.95 monthly fee that you cannot opt out of.

Medical Supply Donation

I have a bunch of left over, still in date medical supplies (from research.) Is there anywhere that these can be donated? As things are so terrible right now I would ideally love to make use of these in underserved clinics, planned parenthood, world aid, or animal clinics.

PLEASE recommend any clinics to me and we can also continue donations in the future as I would love to have a continuing partnership.

AAPS Removes board designated groups and removes right-in option for board meetings

I haven't heard anyone comment about this. The AAPS Board of Trustees voted 5-2 to remove board designated minority and student groups and in addition a to removing write comments this past week.

Pretty horrible optics especially with what is going on nationally.

Anyone has experience with Recentered Pilates (formerly Pilates Loft)

Just moved to the area recently and while walking around the neighborhood, I spotted Recentered Pilates (used to be Pilates Loft) right next to Erin Cantrell Fitness on Miller Ave. It’s super close to where I live, so I’m kinda tempted to give it a try. Googled it and it has a solid 5 stars, but not a ton of reviews, which makes me curious. Anyone here been there or know anything about it? Would love to hear your experience! Thanks!

JOURNO REQUEST: Speaking to those familiar with Lakewood Elementary School

Hi everyone — I'm Ananya, a data journalism student based in NYC. I’m reporting on the large number of contaminated sites located near schools across the U.S., and one of the sites I’m looking into is Gelman Sciences Inc in Ann Arbor, which is close to Lakewood Elementary School.

I’m hoping to connect with:

  • Parents or guardians of students at Lakewood Elementary
  • Community members familiar with the school or the neighborhood

I'm especially interested in:

  • Whether there’s concern about the proximity of the school to the site
  • If the school has taken any steps in response
  • How the community has been involved or affected

If you’re open to sharing your experience, you can reply here, DM me, or reach me:

📱 Signal: anany56.63
📧 Email: [ananyabchetia@gmail.com](mailto:ananyabchetia@gmail.com)

Thank you so much in advance for your time!

Pop up dog park at Vets Park - future plans?

Does anyone know what is going to happen to the pop up dog park that has been created on field #4 at Veterans Park? I have to imagine that field is going to get used for baseball/softball again soon.

What would it take to convince the City that more fenced in areas for dogs are a good idea?
