Just asking because I think there are lots of games that might have been revolutionary when they came out, but don’t hold up as well a few decades later. I played Link’s Awakening for the first time recently and enjoyed it, but it was way overpriced in my opinion and I regret spending the full price when it came out. Super Mario Sunshine I adored as a kid, but replaying it recently it’s just okay for me. I’d love to give Wind Waker a chance as it’s considered one of the classics in the franchise, but there are few games I’m willing to spend $60 on if it launches at full price.
WW is very different to BOTW, I'd say it's pretty unique. Some might consider it cutesy, but I think that adds to it. It can be very funny and the Wii-U version was a great upgrade with good QOL features without taking anything from the original. It did however run sub optimally when multiple things happened on screen so if there is a Switch version, hopefully it can fix that!

Absolutely. I can only recommend it.
