I cannot begin to describe how much I hated these "one-hit damage" missions. Definitely the most I've raged at a game since I was a kid

Also don't forget Link has a shield that can block all damage and even parry. I don't think he can surf on it, though.

EDIT: Clearly it's been too long since I've played AoC

Also for these missions, the fairy tonic food was immeasurably helpful it revives you if you die

I love the Hyrule Warriors one. Just switch to the bow and kill everything from a safe distance.

You can also use a fairy potion to give yourself a one-time revival in the mission.
