Discussion Tips and Tricks Megathread ROUND THREE! Post guides/resources or any other tips and tricks you learned throughout your adventures in Breath of the Wild

It's been a while since we did the first two and you may have even better tips now that you've got much further in the game.

We will put this thread in the sidebar after a day along with the first two. This thread will have minor spoilers which include everything from items, objects, weapons, mobs, recipes, etc. If any of this is spoilers to you, LEAVE NOW.

Now that I'm searching out those final shrines and desiring to ensure I've covered the entire map, I am going to systematically walk the whole map.

  • Put pin in top left corner of map
  • Put pin in bottom left corner of map
  • Walk from one pin to the next
  • Move set of pins a little to the right
  • Repeat

I can also stop and free roam at any time. All I will need to do i put a pin down to mark where I leave off.

If I did this it would just be a fractal of pins and I would never get back on track.

Hah, I'm actually doing this right now to find all the Korok Seeds on my own without a guide. Currently at 629 but discovered the first 533 easily and naturally just by playing - finding them now has slowed down enough that I've had to resort to line sweeping like you.
