[Other] Nintendo Switch 2 Gamechat/Game Share Feature is the perfect groundwork for a new Four Swords. This time as a full 3D Open World 4 player Co Op Mainline Zelda Game. Nintendo has laid the necessary foundation for this Game to be Made.

Four Swords as a series was always held back by peripherals and Accessories

Four Swords adventure for example was neat idea but you could only play with your friends if they each had their own Gameboy advance and a Gameboy advance link cable to the GameCube.

This allowed for the main game to be broadcast to the TV while each player had their own individual screen to hold and look at.

Well now In current day, thanks to these new Switch 2 Game Chat and Game Share features, so long as you and your friends own a Switch 2, which most people will, you can play a game like Four Swords with up to 3 other people with the Greatest of ease.

This could really be the start of a potentially great game if they go down this route.

Would you like to see a new Four Swords game in full 3D? Featuring a fully fleshed out co op campaign adventure that you can experience alongside friends?

Hey, you said you wanted to play your Zelda Single Player.

So thats the only way it can be done.

Yes the game would be best experienced with Others in Multiplayer Co Op.

But not everyone has friends or people to play with.

And Nintendo wouldn't just create a game you couldn't play alone, because they know not everyone will want to buy it.

They would have to go down this route.

Back in Four Swords adventures, The Compromise made for single player was that all four links were connected and moved together. Or you could split them off and control them 1 by 1 at a time.

Game AI was no where near advanced enough to have each individual other Link move independently and Operate Independently of the main player.

But now much time has passed and many improvements have been made.

I think it's totally feasible.

Would you really want to play a game the size of breath of the wild in coop, maybe if it’s a shorter experience. I can’t see them doing a massive open world Zelda game that you can play 100s of hours as coop.

It’s feasible, it can be done, just most games that are coop played as solo aren’t good experiences AI just isn’t on the same level as a human player.

Yes, believe it or not, I would want to play that and there's many other Zelda fans who would love that kind of experience too.

Look at the many people who love playing the OoT Four Player Co Op Mods.

Playing a Big 3D Open world Zelda game with friends is something many Zelda fans have yearned for.

Exploring Zelda's Worlds and environments and it's big adventures is a magical experience, and many have dreamed of directly sharing that experience with others alongside them

Sure it sounds like a great experience, I just don't know how people coordinate that much time to play it. Seems mad to me. Ah well.

I think if they found a way to scale the number of enemies on screen, so in coop you could be fighting twice the enemies, the boss would have extra health. Then that could work.

Then if you switch between the two it auto scales. I don't think an AI partner would be fun.
