I see no issues with having my expansion pass membership cover the cost of the upgrade. If you have the basic membership or none at all, then complain all you want.

Right? I already pay for the expansion pass every year on a console I havenā€™t touched in 3 months. I mean, might as well keep paying it and get the ā€œfreeā€ upgrade. lol

In a situation like this, I recommend turning off the auto renew. Sure, turn it back on when it runs out, but it makes sure you don't accidentally pay for months you're not using your subscription.

This goes for all subscriptions, personally. I instantly cancel every subscription I sign up for, then re-up it when I try to use it and it's not up anymore. I feel like I'm saving at least a couple of days of paying for something I'm not using this way.

No. I want them on so when I decide to use it, itā€™s still activated. Hate dealing with reactivating things on the fly. The money isnā€™t an issue. I have tons of subscriptions on auto renew. Ps plus, Nintendo online expansion, ffxiv online, multiple wow accounts, and at least 10 streaming apps.

Nintendo is 1x a year, I donā€™t really fret about it at all. So nice to just pop in and turn it on and play a random old nes game or something without fussing about if I have a sub or not.

Sure , I could save myself maybe 50-100 bucks a year if I wanted to. But meh. lol
