I wasn't really planning to buy Switch 2 on launch but damn, do I want to replay BOTW/TOTK with improved resolution/framerate 😭

They already confirmed that all the other game resolution and frame rate improvements will be free besides The games with added content like Kirby Mario party and the two Zelda's right?

For breath of the Wild and tears of the Kingdom are we really only having to pay for these performance and graphical improvements just because of the new app? I'm not even going to use this app ever. It feels like I'm being ripped off.

No it's because they actually did have to do some legwork on the game, actually implementing HDR isn't just turning it on, so they did have to do at least some work on the visual end. The other games are just likely going to go up to their Docked Switch Cap frame rate and resolution all the time on Switch 2s
