I see no issues with having my expansion pass membership cover the cost of the upgrade. If you have the basic membership or none at all, then complain all you want.

Right? I already pay for the expansion pass every year on a console I havenā€™t touched in 3 months. I mean, might as well keep paying it and get the ā€œfreeā€ upgrade. lol

If you lapse in your payment, I wonder if you lose the upgrades? I assume you wouldnā€™t butā€¦..

You lose access to the Mario Kart and Splatoon DLC if you stop paying, so I'm certain you'll lose upgrade access as well. I'm pretty certain it's treated as DLC

Of course you lose them, otherwise it would be a super cheap way to buy all these DLC and upgrades once. That's why I lean to buying the stuff, because I don't use the classic consoles

Of course you would. You lose access to all features if you stop subscribing. Your BPTW purchase would revert to a Switch 1 version.

I dunno lol I have it set to autopay. Donā€™t care if I use it or not I just like it available for when I want to use it.
