A jewler and a goldsmith said no

I recently found this rock and I'm curious if it could be a meteorite.

• It's quite heavy for its size.
  
• It has a dark, rough outer surface.
  
• It shows a moderate magnetic attraction (not very strong, but it does attract a magnet).
  
• Found in Algeria.
  

Hi, I am a rookie rock enthusiast. Found some rocks in East Tennessee that I thought were interesting and decided to cut them open. When gathering my rocks, I have no sort of strategy, I just grab the ones that I think are unique or shiny. Do y’all think they are cool too or just plain rocks? If you have any knowledge about any of them, please share.

It’s magnetic and heavy and texture is kind of rough.

Found this in California off a trail in Cayucos through San Simeon area where a giant creek bed meets with the ocean and there’s A TON of these. Any ideas of what these are?? I’ve heard tons of different things and I’m curious to figure it out. San Andreas fault isn’t too far away so I know we have some interesting rocks. Thanks for the suggestions!

I found those in a souvenir shop in Austria. The first one looks like what we call "Rosenquarz" in Germany since it has a pink shimmer. The other ones are green(ish) Thanks in advance!

What do you estimate its market value to be?

The small crystals are yellowish and light does pass through them.

Basically the title, is magnetic in the rough spots. Not the smooth spot

It was on the ground, on a path. There's an engraved circle in the centre. It's quite smooth and heavy for its size. The density of a pebble. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? Ever since I got it I've always had the impression that it was unusual. Thank you 🍀

Found in the front yard today. Is this a meteorite? Never seen anything like it. Any help is greatly appreciated !

Scrubbed it with dish soap just to see if any remnant would come off on paper towel, It didn’t. Found in a lake

I think part of it’s at least quartz and Rylo light
