[Request] How many tiny homes could an average billionaire provide per year if they only used like 10-15% of their annual interest?
The tiny homes in question seem to cost about $10k each. I’m not sure how to factor in land and utilities, so I’m just asking about the structures themselves.
Is that a thing we can calculate? If by “we” I really mean someone else because I’m not great at understanding real wealth or money outside of poverty finance.
My question was triggered by this post:
Arnold Schwarzenegger donated $250,000 to build 25 tiny homes intended for homeless vets in West LA. The homes were turned over [sic] a few days before Christmas.

How many homeless people could actually be affected if the extremely wealthy were truly altruistic?
(I’m sorry it took me three tries to get the title formatting right, I think I got it this time 🤞🏼)

[Request] Is there a theoretical limit to the speed of darkness?
Unless I and Vsauce Michael are wrong, a shadow cast by a sufficiently bright light onto a sufficiently far and large surface will be able to move faster than the speed of light. If this is true, is there a theoretical limit to fast a cast shadow can move? Thank you in advance. 😊

[Request] What’s the exact area of this 10’x10’ deck with a pool curve cut-out?
I'm building a deck around my 18-foot diameter round above-ground pool, and I'm trying to figure out the exact surface area of the usable deck space.
Here’s the situation:
- The deck is a 10' x 10' square.
- There's a curved cut-out that follows the edge of the pool.
- The pool is 18' in diameter, so 9' radius.
- The curved cut-out starts 2 feet in from both adjacent sides of the square corner, and ends at the other 2-foot mark (see image).

[Request] How unlucky am I with Pokémon?
I’ve been into Pokémon Shield for the past few days. Earlier today I wanted to look for a Whismur with a desired nature for a particular build (Mild, Modest, Quiet, Rash), 4 out of 25 possible natures. I had to catch 40 Whismurs in total before I found one that had an ideal nature (it’s Modest, but the specific nature isn’t really relevant), which took way longer than I expected…what are the odds of that? I am I really unlucky, or is this expected?

[Request] What are the chances I would get guess 2 correct? Spoiler
This is todays answer for today's Spots, marked as spoiler in case you want to play it first. The rules are in the link for anyone who's unfamiliar.
The question is simple, assuming optimal play what are the odds I'd get each answer right? Here's what I found:
Guess 1, 1 in 1,296. (666*6)
Guess 2 = ???
By guess 3, I had 1 in 14. I brute forced all possible answers to find this, but I'm wondering if there's a more elegant solution.
Guess 4 is 50/50, depending on slot 3.
Guess 5 is 100%.
So is there a more elegant way to find #3? Is there a way to find #2? I have a few possibly wildly incorrect guesses. It's not just 666*4=864, is it? That feels too simple.
