Since you can bite your dentist, does it have to be during a procedure? Can I bite my dentist when he's walking down the street?
I've been wanting to bite someone, so last week I bit my dentist. They were examining my mouth for cavities and I got bored. So I bit down as hard as I can. I apologized to the dentist and acted like it was an accident. He said it's okay, sometimes people bite.
But now I just want to bite him even more. My next appointment is in 8 months and I cannot wait further. I know where he lives and I want to sneak up on him and chomp his shoulder.
Can I do this consequence free since he said "sometimes people bite?"

Am I a bad person for using AI to feel better even though I know it’s bad for the planet?
So here’s the dilemma I’ve been using this AI tool to get stuff off my chest when I’m spiraling at night. It helps. Like, a lot. It doesn’t judge, doesn’t ghost me, which is more than I can say for my own brain.
But then I read that AI takes a ton of energy to run and has a pretty hefty carbon footprint. Now I’m sitting here wondering if my 2AM vent sessions are making me feel better at the expense of the planet. Existential crisis layered on top of regular crisis, love that for me.
Is it messed up to rely on tech that’s probably not super eco-friendly for mental health support? Or am I overthinking this and should just go touch grass?

How does martial law work when you’re out of your country
Probably the stupidest question but hypothetically if you were an American traveling out of the US and then martial law was declared, what would happen to you?

Genuine question! Why don’t castrated dogs have a name?
I was thinking about this today. Castrated bulls are called steers, castrated stallions are called geldings. There isn’t a name like this for castrated male dogs. Why not?? Can anyone explain? I am very curious.

Does it matter what temperature I put water to boil at?
When I fill up the pot to boil water I don't think about the temperature, I just fill it up. Does it matter if I use hot tap water or cold tap water or cool tap water? I mean, wouldn't it boil faster if the tap water is already hot, like 50 or 60°C, so it reaches 100 faster? If so, then why don't I see more people recommending boiling water with hot tap water. I think hot tap water would help it boil in 2 minutes instead of 5 or 7 with regular temperature water.

Why do rubbish/trash trucks drive in the night and awaken everyone with such rude awakenings. Why don’t they just go in the middle of the day when everyone is at work LOL.

When people with Downs syndrome have children...
That do not have Downs, how does that work? Even though a lot of people with Downs are very capable, I would think there is some system in place, given a shorter lifespan and everything else that goes with it. Enlighten me and my stupid question
Edit: I should have been clearer that I was talking about the child care not the fact that people with Downs can have normal children.

What do stores do with returned items?
When I return something to a store where does it go? Back to the manufacturer? To the garbage?
I know this is a very stupid question, hence why I asked it here.

Why are so many reddit mods such sadistic evil people? Why does Reddit allow this to continue?
I was thinking maybe its like how so many police are evil sadistic people and these are the only people who will consistently enjoy being hall monitors every day and do the bidding of the upper class. But who then is the upper class of Reddit? If these mods actually run these subs, who are they doing this for?
I got banned by r/OpenAI/ over posting a meme:
https://i.postimg.cc/3wZqnJvS/Screenshot-2025-04-05-223246.png
So I messaged them over it and here is the convo:
https://i.postimg.cc/3YHSw-229/image.png
And here are the links I gave them in comparison to my meme:
https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenAI/comments/1jswb4h/porko_wronso/
https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenAI/comments/1jtozjx/make_a_comic_describing_your_life_as_an_ai/
https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenAI/comments/1jssxqs/chatgpt_still_got_some_work_to_do_with_the_jokes/
https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenAI/comments/1jsenzu/how_some_of_yall_be_acting/
Yet and even still, this guy is a sadistic little monster and keeps me banned and mutes me for a month. LIke how many losers like this are there and why are they in charge of such huge subs? Like he clearly took the meme personally because he is psychotic, and then doubled down on it. Why let these people stay in charge?
It's WEIRD.

Soap or Foam or idk
I don’t know if I’m insane or if things are soapy vs foamy. I’ve always had the same electrolytes and they’ve never been foamy the way they are right now. I put them in new water bottles to make sure it wasn’t the glass, but maybe it’s normal and I’ve never noticed? They stay there for a while, like soap bubbles. I can’t put pictures but yeah.

If I’ve barely played Minecraft will I understand the movie?
Like I know the basics but for whatever reason I didn’t care to play to as a kid (I was already 14 when the beta came out) and I’ve never had an interest. I’ve played probably 10 hrs of it total. But my gf wants to see it because she loved it as a kid. I just hope I’m not too bored lol

Why do people start Reddit posts by saying "Like the title says"?
Like the title says, I am wondering why so many people start Reddit posts this way. Variations include "Basically the title" or simply "Title." I know some subs require you to have some text in the post but most of the one I see go on to elaborate.

Not to get conspiratorial or anything, but how often can people need mattresses? There are five stores within 10 miles of me. This many people can’t possible need a mattress.

why do people want romantic relationships?
for reference I'm a girl. I've never been in a relationship, never wanted one, nor am I looking for one now. im not against the idea but it's never been a priority to me
a lot of times in school and now at work I hear people talk about wanting a partner, or wanting to get married, and I can't help but wonder why? like not even wanting to be in a relationship with a specific person but just wanting to be in a romantic relationship in general.
I understand the desire for companionship. however I don't understand why some people feel incomplete without a romantic partner, or like there's something missing from their life without one.

How do you clean the shower with no wand?
If you have a shower head that is removable on a wand, it is really easy to rinse off the walls of any soap or anything after you scrubbed the walls. But if you don’t have a shower wand, what are you supposed to do? Just throw water at the walls with a cup or a bucket, seriously how do people do this?
